Crazy to think just like all the dancing, juggling and puppeteering, Neil did all the teleporting around himself. He is so talented.

NPH as the Toymaker was one of the best villains the show has had in years. Charismatic and theatrical with just the right amount of cartoony. A great foil for the Doctor. I really hope he comes back.

The Toymaker was already a memorable villain for hardcore fans like me, but putting him back in the mainstream was awesome. I was concerned about Neil's take being too different to Gough's original, and while it was, he definitely made it his own in a way that fits perfectly. Nostalgia tells me that Gough is still my favorite, but Neil's Toymaker is sure giving him a run for his money.
It's a credit to the show and Neil's acting that i didn't wonder for a second how this was filmed who did the magic and the puppeteering and everything. No suspension of disbelief necessary for me... Cause clearly I was just watching an all powerful alien.
NPH nailed it. The man was born to play a Who villain.
Neil Patrick Harris absolutely SMASHED the role!! He’s incredibly talented, one of my favourite actors 😊 This was such a fantastic episode 💙
Neil Patrick Harris was perfect as the toymaker. Played that character to a tea.
He absolutely crushed the role. -Fantastic job.
What's the possibility of NPH getting a BAFTA or Emmy nomination for this performance? He earned this!❤
The man is a showman through and through. Just perfect for the role.
This might be the greatest role of Neil Patrick Harris's iconic career, I really hope we see more of him as the Toymaker in the future.
Neil was absolutely amazing. He knocked it out of the park as the Toymaker. SImply perfection.
NPH describing the role as "vomiting the ecstacy of my brain" is so oddly, perfectly on brand. 😂 Love that man.
Neil Patrick brought his Count Olaf energy to put into the character he played. It's amazing.
He was so perfect for the role. I love the mocking overky flamboyant German accent and the execution of all his scenes, it was so good
I´m excited so see if we might see other old villains of the Doctor return. Remember how the Meep said "Wait until I tell the Boss" or the Toymaker´s last words "My legion is coming" which makes me believe that "The Boss" is the one who actually brought the Toymaker back and is gathering various people for some big plan.
