How in the world do you not have over a million followers? My son and I just discovered this channel (my 15 year old son is mildly autistic) and we love what you do! He is into cosplay. Especially steampunk, assassin's creed, robotic and army type stuff. Your channel has inspired us to start making cosplay outfits for him. I have a gas powered blast furnace, 3 different sized coal powered blast furnaces and a small induction furnace and foundry and I am drawing up plans already to start making some of the metal pieces for his outfits. He and I are both extremely excited and plan to start a youtube channel showing our progress along the way. Thank you so much for doing what you do and showing how to do these things. It's helping a lot and has inspired us to give it a try as well. We will include a link to your channel in the description of every video as our inspiration and we will tell anyone and everyone who is interested about this channel. problem with cosplay robo arms is that almost all materials add substantial thickness. Your hand is remarcable in this aspect but I'd still like it to get even thinner or maybe even simulate see-through holes in some way.

I just build it with whatever thickness then dremel where it connects to my arm, masking it pretty much seamless

Very cool, would love to see some more detail shots and some build shots. The curved metal parts look pretty complex. How did you make the grooves in the finger pieces? With a rotary tool?

I used duct tape as a resist/guide and carefully carved them out with a tiny triangular metal-file! Good eye! :D I think a rotary tool would be a bit too imprecise :x

These are thin aluminium sheetmetal (0.75mm to 4mm for varying pieces) that are hammered into shape. I think it's called 'fabrication' :)

I just made them myself, and improvised a lot since at the time we only had the few seconds at the end of the trailer... It's not really accurate 'anymore' haha!

Btw, the “upside down bear” is the California flag, just… upside down.

to be fair you regular hair is more lore aaacurate at least before the game

My cosplay consists of having my own Hair and beard and putting on shades :)
