Data science don’t need data base it’s but instant cooking and you can retrieve and manipulate the data from a primitive database so in this case dbms is not needed

I am a mechanical engineer and till 2023 mechanical engineers are allowed to get admission in IISc cds iit Delhi mtech data science, IIT roorkee Mtech in data science and other colleges through GATE ME paper so are these going to change because of introduction of new gate subject is...this now to get admission in mtech in data science one have to give Gate paper in DA only.....if he was not from CS background...please reply

Ig mostly because earlier data science and ai was an interdisciplinary course meaning people having gate score in cs , ec , ee could opt for it. Now this new paper reduces the burden and will be eligible for many branches
