Considering how awful Ronda Rousey is, the "botched ending" was probably intentional because Ronda couldn't accept losing.

To give her credit. Not tapping keeps in character with her being former MMA/UFC. Would Lesnar tap to just anyone either?

He probably has (maybe to Kurt?) but I can't imagine Brock tapping out. Submissions are relatively rare in WWE nowadays but I can't even imagine who would tap him out? Roman's guillotine? Even then I just can't see him tapping. (I looked it up, Kurt and Benoit are the only 2 to make him tap which sounds about right, Kurt did it in singles, Benoit it a Survivor series elimination)

@@JelzSmellz That part makes perfect sense. I can't think of any male wrestler in the company whose primary finish is a submission these days. And with Ronda and Becky, well it's the old identical finisher problem that Sting and Bret or The Rock and Booker had, except somehow worse, since the Dis-Arm-Her looks ridiculous to anyone who does MMA. (In fairness, a real armbar got booked into oblivion 30 years ago; Ronda's the first person since Dan Severn that anyone bought into their armbar, and Dan mostly used a dragon sleeper anyway.)

I agree with the not tapping thing as does flow well with the character but the botched pin from Rhonda always felt like she ruined a little bit of what made that main event so special and she needs to apologise for that.

I don’t know about others, but there was something about Ronda in WWE that I didn’t like. She was pushed to look way too strong compared to all her women opponents. Another thing is that she seemed to be unbeatable and when coming to make another women a very good champion or selling to make her look good, was like Ronda didn’t want that to happen. Look at Nia Jax, she looks like a force in WWE women division, but she is not unbeatable. Clever wrestling moves can make her lose the fight or so.

Im sorry i saw a comment here that rhonda was pushed to strong in a real fight she would beat most of the women on the roster. No one says a word about Lesnar, goldberg, undertaker, lashney they never tapped out. Another women who probably are tough Bianca, Jade, Natalya and sheyna would beat most of these women too

Rhonda was never going to play ball in a spotlight like that where she wasn't the one coming out on top. She refused the tap, which would've made sense at the time. Think about it, what was beckys strongest finisher st the time? The disarmher. You think she'll loe for for a basic explode? Of course not, ronda protected herself at beckys expense

I liked rhonda at the time but her attitude amd personality really shoeed years kater that she was to big headed and sloppy for the wrestling buisness but i will say her first yearshe had alot of good stuff and she got better every day, she came off akward as a baby face while she wasnt perfect at it she was better as a heel but she was still very green, had she really commited to it she really coulda took to it like brock or kurt angle and became one of the best With all that said i may not have thought she was so great and definitely didnt like alot of things i heard about her but i can understand why someone from the ufc who was the champ in a great rookie year decided she didnt want to tap out at mania she yhought it kills her character and i get that, still did she really have to ruin beckys moment but not keeping her shoulder down itvwas a roll up she coukda popped right up after amd bitch and complain and push the ref be a heel right after the baby face goes over

Who is winning??? It's WWE, nobody is winning anything. You don't hear the Marvel universe actors coming out, "hey, we just save the world against that ass hole Loki." They all come on the stage TOGETHER good and bad and they are celebrated for their performance. It is time for WWE to do the same.

It's like winning an Oscar, it's voted on by opinions of an Academy,, in this case WWE creative bookers. Typically a person is not going to win if they are known to be a non or low drawing performer. Or even be in that position to begin with. There are some exceptions. It's still a high honor to the performers to be a champion.

That is where ridiculing is coming in. You don't see people clowning on Mat Damon because he kicked everyone's ass in the Borne series. But people do clown on Seagal because he is claiming that is who he is in real life.
