Initially I was a bit upset but after thinking about it this was the better call. Wouldn’t want Liv to be transitional for a bit just for Rhea to take it right back. I’m think Becky holds it until Summerslam where she’ll lose to Rhea and then Liv will eventually dethrone Rhea sometime toward the end of the year

it likely has to do with her ability to control a crowd and mic skills or lack thereof in addition to her having basically THE SAME exact moveset and Zero "improvement" in her in-ring ability since AFTER the injury. Nothing has actually changed when she came back 🤷‍♂️

Liv hasn't won a feud in years. Having Liv challenge Becky in a series of matches would make Liv look GREAT when becomes champion. Becky deserves the title because she can carry people into feuds and will make Liv Morgan into a bigger star when she loses to her sometime in the future.

Let's be clear. This is a very safe and smart option. Yes, this was a chance to get a new champion, or maybe even see another run for Liv or Nia, who probably won't get one for a while. But I just don't think you can go wrong with Becky Lynch if you need a champion.

they have spots to fill ....and look at the 💩 talent they have. one brand seems FLOODED with heavy hitters, the other has/had TWO big names that are believable to watch. the draft might shake things up but FOR WHAT? That would not look good for Liv. Becky exists to make other people look good and she will probably be in a feud putting her over. Bliss being there kind of takes away the shine. It's the same logical reason why Jade Cargill and Rhea can't be in the same show.

Safe choice, only one critique: Manhandle Slam on the apron foe the finish looked bad. Liv had nowhere to go to bump as shes between Becky and the ropes. It wouldve been a little safer if they switched positions and Becky did it against the post or even on the ropes, so Liv would just bounce off and she can take the bump however she likes.

I’m trusting Trips here. Becky is one of the top women’s wrestlers right now and I think Rhea is going to out longer than we anticipate, which would then make not putting the title on Liv now ideal because now Liv can worry about and have a storyline with Becky, gain some momentum by herself without the star power of Rhea, and get the championship when Rhea is about ready to come back.

I predicted Becky to win the women’s world title at Wrestlemania but that went south for my predictions at the start but now that Becky won the women’s world title in the battle royal, I wonder who her first challenger will be, I’m hoping it’s liv morgan at backlash

That’s technically the SmackDown women’s championship that’s the lineage it’s on. Bailey’s title is the raw women’s championship with that lineage.
