One time I was staying at this hostel in D.C. and there was a guitar in the lobby. I was playing it a bit and started talking to a guy from Japan. I started playing this song and his eyes totally lit up. "I didn't ever think I would meet an American that knows The Beat Crusaders!" We proceeded to sing this song together and it was awesome. Good times.

Amazing, I’d cry lol

This will always be my favourite manga turned anime because of its style: it's simple: 5 teenagers becoming a rock band. Beauty in simplicity. Makes me go back to when I was growing up with this manga at 15-16, playing in bands. Now I'm 19 and turned into a pro wrestler, but this song throws me back and reminds me that I'm still a musician. I think that anyone who played and grew up with this song, knows how I feel about that statement.

i dunno why but im addicted to the part in the opening when they sing to the song (one by one) xP i have to watch it over and over at least 7 times before im satisfied and can watch the rest :D

I remember watching the first two episodes a few years ago. I never forgot about it but I never got round to watching the rest, but recently I got the time and finished watching it. so glad I did. AWESOME anime.

i like the animation style, its soo realistic, but then it isn't :3 awesome
