Because you the fans asked for this, I will do a review of FC vs. FCoE and each values for storage
Ғылым және технология
SO! FC (Fiber Channel) and FCoE (Fiber Channel over Ethernet) are storage protocols used along with ISCSI to access Disk space over a network. FC using something called a SAN (Storage Area Network) A SAN doesn't use TPC/IP in anyway to provide storage to server/s. It using a protocol called Fiber Channel. This is really secure to use but not cheap. So over time ISCSI first came out and then later FCoE came next. This allow users to reduce their costs and still use a storage protocol for their servers. It is not as secure but it is pretty good. Enjoy the video and keep having fun learning!
God Bless

Thanks for explanation. We need more videos from you on SAN storage and infrastructure for upcoming Sys and Storage Admins.

Will do...
Great explanation. Thank you sir.
Thanks Matt Damon
FCoE Fibre Channel over Ethernet FCIP. Fiber Chanel over IP iFCP internet FCP ISCSI ISCSI and FCoE are both Storage area networks. This allows host to connect to storage. They both have initiator and target. Server A want access storage on an array or other server it will talk to that target. Fibre Channel SAN may require a dedicated switch or be direct connect . In your example of you want to connect two sites together one without Dark fiber one would use iFCP or FCIP. This will allow Fibre Channel protocol to go over IP based network.
