Thanks mate! It worked. On the bebop battery you have to use the two right most connectors if holding the battery bottom side upwards and connectors forward!

To my absolute amazement, this worked!1 It took one minute on a 12V Lithium recharge and instant charging. What insane engineer (and I want a name) was responsible for such a crap design and no warning in the Beebop documents?!!

It worked! Had to change the connectors to fit my battery. I used a 12v car battery charger not just a trickle charger. I put it on 15 amp manual seating and it still took 2- 1 minute charges to do the job. (FYI - The battery started to get just the slightest bit warm at the end of the 2nd minute.) I think the point of this is to get a small charge in the battery so the wall charger's micro-processor can "see" the battery. Until the battery has a small charge, the charger doesn't know to turn on because it doesn't sense that anything is there. Mine is charging right now! Thanks!

Gig Edwards I have the same problem with my new Bebop battery as I shall load for the first time. I don´t have any balanced charger, but was thinking about my car charger. It has a swtich so I even can load 12 volt batteries for motorbikes. I will test it one minute with this. Thank you Ryan O´Lear for this video.

I used this same method to fix my lithium drill batteries. Just a min or 2 on a 12v or whatever normal charger and it stimulates the cells in the lithium battery and when plugged back onto the oem charger it will take charge. Good advice and it worked for me on one of my parrot drone batteries!

I have a Parrot AR Drone 2.0 that my neighbor gave me that was brand new in the box and the charger wasn't even lighting up with the battery inserted. I did this for one min like you did and it lit up solid red after this.

Excellent! Buying supplies at Walmart today. Now you got me thinking. Wonder if you could rig a removable battery plug with extensions for the alligator clips that would make charging multiple batteries easier - rather than manually detaching the squashed pin connectors every time?

Worked for me, 12v with trickle charge for a few minutes, not the question is, how long will it hold a charge. An old battery that does charge will only last a few minutes fully charged.....

I have 3 bad batteries and I took one outside and made what you did and hooked it up to a 2amp car charger for two minutes and now it’s charging so I’m going to do the others later today

I have two that are charging. The third one even when hooked to car charger at 2amps it won’t do anything. But at least I have two working. Thanks for video

I tried this. used connecters from an old PC power supply cord. 2 amps on 12v for 30 secs. Bingo! thanks so much. I used an extension cord so I would be in the other room when the battery was being charged(didn't need the goggles) lol bless you man!

Duran Felix Use a small set of alligator clips that have wire leads coming off of them. You can clip the trickle charger alligator clips to the wire leads then put just one jaw of the small alligator clip inside the pin housing and the other jaw on the outside. Thanks Mr Kent.com for your video showing us that technique!

Tecolotl. It’s not bad man. You don’t necessarily need the multimeter so you just need to buy three things. And your price is under $50. I’d rather do that then spend $70 each for three batteries.

What about for bebop 2 please help

Obviously same idea, also sometimes just put them in and out of the charger within a second of it failing to charge, take it out and jam in right back on again, several times and usually they will go eventually.

If I send you my batteries and $50 would you charge them. lol.
