Kinda harsh there.....doesn't say he actually saw any beavers. When the beavers come back they will witness what was done.

He didn’t say he saw or filmed the beavers, he said the beavers witnessed …….. and there’s every possibility that the beavers were watching so he didn’t actually lie.

Not really, he didn’t say he filmed any beavers, he just said the beavers witnessed their apocalypse and for all we know maybe they did. They could have been hiding out of sight.
