At least one beaver attack on a human is known to have been fatal: a 60-year-old fisherman in Belarus died in 2013 after a beaver bit open an artery in his leg. (according to Wikipedia)

Post, I laughed so hard when you were in screaming retreat from the angry beaver. You made my day!

Loved the chance to see the beaver surprise you again, moments after you said you weren't afraid of them. Love watching how you never forget your inner child in your videos too.

I ALWAYS learn something new with every video. This time it was your statement that the weight of the water ponds sink and helps replenish water aquifers, which with the dry winter again, they need all the help they can get. Also, showing the rock as a counterweight on the camera. And to top it off and a sweet ending to THIS viedo, the beaver in daylight working on his dam! I also enjoyed the look back when you broke the dam and the water was released very suddenly. That video is one of my favorites! And breaking the ice had to be your fun for the day. That solid ice when it broke, I'm glad you didn't talk because it was clearly heard breaking clear down the stream for several seconds, just AWESOME! It gave me some FUN minutes too. Thanks for having us along.

The Great Beaver War continues

There has only been one known fatality of a human dying from a beaver attack, and that was when a man tried to hold a beaver to take a picture. The beaver bit through the man’s artery. There have been instances of beavers biting people, almost always when defending their territory, but sometimes when the beaver showed signs of rabies. Beavers usually will give a warning in the form of hissing or growling, and short rushes.

I was so sad and a little mad that you weren't crunching and breaking all the ice as you were going past it all, but then you did! And it was amazing. That last stomp was the BEST. Thanks!

Man I never realized how much of a MENACE beavers can be. Those little buggers are quite the handful.

Would you ever unblock the other culvert? It would give the beavers teice as much to do! Can't wait to see the update in the spring!

There was a article about the Yellowstone park where beavers were called "hydrological Swiss army knife" because they do so many different tasks that are beneficial for the environment. It's just difficult when interests collide. I'm always a bit sad for the beavers but our infrastructure has to be protected to a certain level.

Thank you for bringing us this very interesting and informative video presentation which is very beneficial to the people. It was especially interesting as it showed us the developments over a period of time. It is of deep concern to the people that the problem of culvert blockage and damming will continue as a result of the animals continued presence in the vicinity, it is a pity that this was not remedied by the appropriate authorities while time was on their side as far as the evacuation of the beavers were concerned as you so rightly pointed out in your narration. The road may survive for a short time as a result of the surface being frozen but as soon as the great thaw comes then it will more than likely not be able to withstand the wear and tear, let alone any flooding incidents. I am sure that the community are very grateful for your continued support regarding this matter.

If they had followed the advice of Post 10 for better and bigger culverts, with a good inlet, his work would be easier. And the authorities damage the culverts by using heavy equipment and are not very effective. I agree that this video is very informative and even reaches the level of a documentary! The authorities have the task of making up the balance of investment, good culverts that cost more, or maintaining the road frequently. And never forget: the people are the community and the authority.

You can hunt beavers for profit in Southern Argentina if you want because they're an invasive species there

Dude its super weird! Here on the big island mauna kea and mauna loa both have snow on them and we’re in a blizzard warning!!! Most people don’t even know it snows here in hawaii.

Howzit! I was just at Hilo Bay with fiance two nights ago, we were staring at Mauna Kea and talking about this same thing! Watching some uncle fishing in shorts and slippahs when just an hour drive away there is a blizzard.

That mega ice Crack at 15:00 was awesome

Having lodge entry below surface level is a survival issue for beavers. The first reason is that the water prevent cold air to enter and cool the living space inside the lodge. This cause the beavers to freeze to death. The second reason is that if the water level is too low ice could block exit from the lodge. This cause the beavers to starve to death. As such draining lodge's pool during winter is best to avoid if possible.

The trees during the Fall were beautiful!!! Great video.

Nice to go back and see the different adventures and disputes with the beavers. Would love to see them jet cleaning that one culvert that they left clogged up. Thanks again Post10.🇺🇸👮🏻‍♂️

News: A young man was found trapped beneath a tree earlier today. The base of the tree appeared to have been gnawed by some large animal. Beavers in the area were later seen giving each other high-fives.

Not enough water pressure to efficiently do it. Looks like next time they come out there going to have to bring a telephone pole to push in and out with the excavator
