Same issue with the pull cord not wanting to thread through the lining. Use scissors and make the cleanest cut you can on the end and hit it with a lighter. I used my fingers to twist and compact it while it was hot.. it worked though.

I have the 2017 Lure V1 13.5, and the internal tubes the rudder cable runs through have already deteriorated and turned to literally dust. Odd, because the rudder has bever been installed, so it's never seen any use. I would order replacements, but I cringe at the thought of having to replace them every 3 to 5 years. Apparently this is a common issue that others are having also. Although not a costly repair, threading new tubes through will be almost impossible. Not a job I look forward to doing. Just a heads up if you plan on buying this kit, and are having cable install trouble.

"@Feelfree Kayaks" At 2:16 the narration says "place the THICKER washer at the top of the opening for the rudder as shown" -- but the guy in the video is placing the THINNER washer at the top of the rudder. Then, seconds later, the guy in the video places the THICKER washer at the bottom during the install where the narrator says "add the THINNER washer to the bottom as shown". So.... Which is it??? Thicker washer on top, or the bottom? The paper sheet that comes with the kit seems to suggest that the THICKER washer goes on top (at least for the Lure 13.5 install), but there are no written instructions with the rudder kit - only very vague diagrams.

I don’t understand why this was not factory ready like all kayaks ? And if I put a pedal how I will stare while peddling?

does this system work with the moken 10 v2 lite? and if so, when will they be in stock on the website?

wish i wouldve seen this video before i jammed the rudder on there and lost my rudder pin thanks!

ordered a new rudder pin almost 3 weeks ago still haven't received it had to paddle my pedal kayak lol! guess i'll get a old town next time. sucks cause i actually like the kayak itself but i paid for pedal with a working rudder and steering system. oh well my bad i guess! Got ripped for $800

I'm over here with a lathe and machine tools about to make a slick setup for my lure 10 v2

So the tubing on mine is damaged. My cable goes straight into the cavity and doesn't line up. Can you help me at all feelfree?

@@chrisvogel88 The internal tubes that guide the cables have deteriorated and fallen apart. It's a common problem. The only fix is to buy new tubing and fish them through.. good luck.

The rudder up line will not go feed through the hull. It starts good but then gets jammed up. What can i do about this?

its getting caught on the nipple on the ends. good luck. took me 4 hrs to get my cable ran through there and the tube is actually dangling and can risk leakge
