You guys are hard workers. I know the first time I put up a beaver I almost quit it was so hard and time consuming. But you don't quit and eases comes with experience. I could never put up the quantity you guys do, turn around and do it 3 days later. Much respect and appreciation!

I cant help but feel that the pond has to have some huge females left in it yet, to ever of had a male that large around. Back when I trapped...The price difference between carcass and stretched was very minimal and all the buyers where extremely picky about how they wanted them skinned/stretched that they could easily dock you more then the difference in price. Plus...each buyer wanted em done a little different. So if I did them like they wanted then I limited myself to only them as a buyer. It was an endless game of trying to beat ya down on prices it seemed and like dealing with a band of Gypsies! I would basically just skin the ones I wanted for my own projects.Have a great weekend and Thanks for sharing! Nice looking furs!🦫

for once we have a couple boys that know what they are doing , A lot of stuff on fur on this is a lot of blah blah, that being said, I appreciate these two trappers, a small hint that would possibly make it easier to nail beaver would be to have a rotating nailing board, that is very handy for a single boarder. I am also a contract trapper for a larger Canadian city, so I appreciate this video. My largest beaver generally a female is 84 lbs weighted the day after it hung out to dry some, this year I caught three over the 80 lbs mark and that is weighed with authentic good working scales .I trap a large river system and I attribute the large animals to the fact they can come from hundreds of miles away. So thank you for the realistic beaver trapping and handling video!

I like to leave some on the hide . This way as your fleshing the weight helps pull its self off. I sold some this year to GWF folded in half frozen. Never going to do it again. You lose as much as two sizes on them. It's a screw them deal.

You guys don’t put up all your beaver though do you? You sell a lot of them whole? I put up 183 so far this year and I’m tired out. My biggest stretched 80 this year. You guys rock. Love your content

We used to put up all pf them but not any more ...maybe50-80 a year now about 1/2 are sold in the carcass and close to 1/2 just skinned and the rest put up. It is a lot of work as you know!
