Seeing the piece of wood you started with I'd never expected a result like this. The rough burl turning into an example of elegance and purity. So stunning! Colour and structure resemble a piece of renaissance stone cutting. Agate or jaspis maybe.... Completely in awe 💚

You and your group are masters of design, wood selection, and precision. Seeing the handle come to such creative design life was an added bonus.

The look and finish you attain on your works of art are so exquisite that I often forget that it's wood you're working with until the bottom of the piece is sawn off. This bowl is especially so, its beauty is beyond words!

Only five pieces of wood, I thought I'd clicked on the wrong link ... this must be one of your simplest yet most stunning pieces of work ... I knew the burl would look amazing, but wasn't expecting it to look that good, like a piece of finely sculpted stone. I was wondering why you made a ledge on the inner surface of the bowl, very unusual, but thought it actually looked pretty good ... then you started making a lid and it all made sense ... absolutely fantastic craftsmanship as usual 👍
