McCann lost no doubt, but he did show a lot of heart. Why they insist on ruining boxing with these stupid decisions I’ll never know. Saw it coming a mile off. The fact that not one judge scored the 9th to Baluta says it all.

Watched it live and MCcan was so lucky to get a draw. He got 'big manned' the whole fight. His supporters and the crowd were silent and so happy with for draw when announced.

McCann was getting caught too often by a good fighter not a world class fighter. McCann can take away from this fight a lot though. He has plenty of heart to dig in and keep going after a bad cut and he seems to have excellent punch residence. That said he needs to improve his defensive skills because against a skilled and teak tough Mexican he’ll be stopped early rounds.

Probably why Baluta got jobbed, just so they could avoid that scenario.

Dennis McCann lost that fight just but he showed a great chin and heart including desire to win , he took some huge punches and never looked really hurt. Still Young brilliant experience will learn so much from that fight . Had everything .

I had a Baluta 5-3 before the ref called it in the 9th. It really should of been called during the 7th after the clash of heads at which pint I had it 3-3 and a draw would be reasonable. But McCann got a whooping for the reminder of the fight after the cut. He should of lost this fight, Baluta can feel hard done by with this

Close, but maybe Baluta just edged it. Some of McCann’s shots were subtle counters that could be missed and were good scoring shots, but the main aggression was definitely Baluta. Having said that, this was a big step up for McCann and I think he handled the situation well, especially with the cut, so a good learning fight to put in the bag for the next fight.

Hard to tell who won from a 10 minute highlight! But baluta looked the aggressor mostly and defo landed the bigger shots from this clip! Either way….I personally feel DM is massively hyped, i honestly don’t see anything special about him!! Defo not a puncher and he doesn’t look the strongest! He took some good shots here and showed some good spirit but just don’t see anything special about at all really!!🤷🏽‍♂️

What a cracking fight ! Two boxers giving it a 💯 ! Balata has one really good moments where he looked like he might be able to stop Dennis ! Dennis showed lots of grit and determination and stamina , took some heavy shots without any real problems ! Only negative for Dennis was his piss poor jab !

As a big fan of Dennis, this draw was a gift to Mccann for his resume, he was just getting hit a lot more, and with bigger and better shots (in my opinion obviously) he should have lost. Either way this was a great fight. A learning experience for Dennis. I still think he's a better boxer, just maybe had the wrong gameplan this time.

He has better boxing for sure, but Baluta is a good experienced boxer with amazing pace, big heart and, cardio-machine. The problem I see here is that it was a big step up for Dennis, who should have been fighting better opposition at this point of his career. I didn't watched any other fights of Dennis, but tbh I saw him in this fight pretty slow and with no explosiveness.

Odd to me they booked Dennis to box in such a small ring... His style is built of footwork and it played into balutas hands massively

Fish eyes loves a traveler ,hes not stupid he knows McCans got a short shelf life.

Real draws are rare in boxing, draw is usually used to stop the a side losing in a close fight, i.e wilder vs fury 1 and this

I was ringside. McCann done well but no saw Baluta coming out the way he did. Clash of heads had negative effect on McCann as he couldn’t see. Draw was reasonable as it was a very even fight. McCann is a slicker puncher Baluta is more of a brawler. shouldn’t even be up for debate to set up a rematch.
