Beautiful VILLA DEL BALBIANELLO / Lake Como / Italy (4K)
The beautiful Villa del Balbianello is known for its scenic terraced gardens and stunning views of Isola Comacina and the western shore of Lake Como. It's the setting for several movies, including James Bond - Casino Royale, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and A Month by the Lake.
Villa del Balbianello is located near the town of Lenno from where you can get a taxiboat for a short ride or walk 1km through a park.
You can buy tickets to see only the gardens or you can join a guided tour to see the interiors.
The whole complex consists of two residential buildings, a church, and a portico that overlooks a little dock. The main building of Villa del Balbianello hosts some English and French furnishings, which date back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
The villa was built in 1787 for Cardinal Angelo Maria Durini who set out to create the most beautiful garden on the Tremezzo Riviera.
In 1976 the property was bought by the famous explorer Count Guido Monzino who dedicated much effort to restoring the house and its grounds. The upper floor of the villa is dedicated to him and his life.
Today, the villa belongs to FAI (a fund for the preservation of the environment ) and is home to private events such as weddings, ceremonies and even film or photographic sets.

The taxi boat was fine. You wait a little bit for it. It takes 5 min to the villa. It costs around 6-8 euro one way. Alternatively you can walk 1 km through the park.

I can't remember exactly....maybe it was 6-8 Euro one way. You pay on spot.

Thank you! Your video of Lake Como is beautiful. As to your question, the answer is too long I am afraid to write it down here. KZread changes year by year and now is simply overcrowded with creators. This of course makes things very difficult for every channel. If you are interested to make videos of only one country, city or region, then I think you may have better results. (these are my observations for the last 2 years, but still nothing is sure and guaranteed)
