I'm surprised you think Ulverston, nice though it is, is in The Lake District. I know you're an offcomer, but I would have thought that you've lived more than long enough in the area to have known that.

It's in Cumbria, which encompasses the Lake District, so technically he's correct.

No he isn't. If we apply your logic, because Barrow is in Cumbria it is therefore in The Lake District, which it isn't.
