I had an uncle in your line of work in Holland. He worked some residential projects but primarily on laying brick/stone on city streets. He had to end his career in his 50’s because of severe back issues. He blamed the disability on the constant bending over while moving or lifting the weight of the stone. What can/do you do to protect yourself? Your videos are excellent by the way and I’m very impressed by the work.

Yes, it can be a problem but thankfully I’ve never suffered. Think it comes down to a combination of things - conditioning, looking after your body by eating well, stretching, weightlifting etc 👍🏼

Thank you Matt. Loving every minute. We on our 2nd house, last house and garden was very good. Garden and out building should be done by June. I'm only 90% as good as you and your wonderful Crew. Still looks good, a more traditional look we have. I can honestly say by watching your fantastic videos I can raise my game. Big thanks. I'm loving what you achieve, It must be so rewarding I guess. I do plumbing and heating, by the end of the day there is nothing to see. Nope! Not a thing. Maybe the house is warm now? Still nothing to see, it's all hidden. Beautiful work mate 👏

Truly inspiring. I think I have watched almost every video. I have learnt so much. Your precision and love for the job is amazing. Prof that hard work pays off. Would love to be that good one day. Just wanted to ask how you work in winter. Trying a small path at home but was told to wait as the night temp gets to about 3c and cement won’t set correctly …how do you get around that?

You are so welcome 🙏🏼 Yes, some say 2 and rising but usually 4 You can put a cement anti freeze in, cover up with hessian, keep aggregate covered. But best avoiding in those temps if you can
