Love You Still is Morissette trying to reach out to her estranged father, mother and brother. I don't know the exact details or reasons why her father would not talk to her, for more than three years now. Some say it's because of her falling in love and marrying Dave. But why? Dave is a good man, and we have seen how much he loves and supports Morissette in all things including her music. Her father should actually be proud that she made the right choice for a husband. This is a song that pulls her emotions, made even more emotional by the sound of the cello accompaniment, maybe that's why she herself broke down to tears listening to it. Thank you, Schnell, for your continued love and support for Mori. 🥰

It is not a love song per se but a pleading and a bleeding heart full of love towards her father who has remained estranged from her over the issue of her husband Dave, a man he did not like and refused to allow her to marry him and at the same time refused her mother and brother to attend her wedding. She is being the perfect daughter in honoring her father and being an adult as well.

How could anyone improve on this? For me, she's the reigning pop diva in the world today, and this song is proof. I wish somehow this could get on the charts in the West.

I did some checking on this song trying to find out why this was so emotional to her. This song she is singing, Love You Still, is to her father because she chose to marry Dave Lamar over her family and her father basically was his hands of her for that choice. Adds a whole new meaning when you see it.

Bewitchingly melodious sound.. it seemed like a sound from a distance attracting me to hear it over and over again... Part of me is a filipino blood but was not gifted with such an envious sounds as they have, but I love watching Filipino artist.. like Katrina Velarde, Morisette Amon, Elha Nympha, Nonoy Peña, Sam Mangubat, Michael Pangilinan, Bugoy Drilon and Daryl Ong... They are all excellent singers with huge followers and I hope you can convince them to subscribe in your Channel...

What makes it more meaningful is that it's about her and her father (in real life).

She's a great artist she writes her own songs or cowrote with her husband. She interprets the song with so much emotion.

This version got me good. Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of one person. It takes all of me to not tell her that I still love her all these years later.

See how she stopped near the end, pulled herself together and blasted that note. This is just so raw, beautiful but still so painful. It really is a beautiful song. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 good show, but I think she is just expressing her feelings towards her father. Not as you say, taking us on a journey. Too personal, I am not even sure why she would post this version. Too vulnerable, too raw, too deep. Filos tend not to bare their inner feelings, but maybe times has changed. May she find happiness with her dad. It is uncomprehensive this is still as it is. She is too precious to carry this burden.
