Old England hasn’t gone. We really value our heritage, so many places are protected.

One of the things I love most about your videos is how fresh and honest you are! If it's cold and windy, you let us know! If a place is a bit of a disappointment, you are honest about that, too (always in a tactful way). It's so great to experience these places along with you for the first time.

Would we mind if you go into an antique shop?! Never! I enjoyed looking with you! What a beautiful but awfully stark and cold landscape. The old buildings were wonderful, loved the ponies and the “loo with a view” 😄 Thanks for taking us along!

Next time you are in Church Stretton Kirsten, try visiting Jemima's tea room, it is worth a visit especially in the summer when you can sit in the garden which has a view of the church. Also you could go for a climb up the hill Lawley which is very peaceful with beautiful views, especially nice in the summer, we take a picnic up there sometimes.

I walk those hills regularly now - am getting to know them bit by bit 😀 It was lovely to see it through your eyes. It is very exposed in cold weather! So beautiful views from the mountains remind me a little bit to my beautiful Caribbean Island Puerto Rico. I now had been living in the USA more than 30 years but I still loving my little island... Thank You for sharing UK is in my bucket list.

Thanks so much Jennifer! Oh I LOVE cups like that, very unique. Hahah I know, some people think Joerg didn't like the print and Queen Victoria but he LOVES her, we just have so so many prints that need to be framed that he was hesitant at first :)

It is so nice to see JOERG loosening up a bit. He's not so stiff as before , and he smiles more often. I love it !

I lived in Shropshire for fifteen years and visited this a few times. It is a beautiful county full of unchanged historic sights. ❤

I love your videos. I lived in Ipswich as a child, in the 70's. I explored towns and many antique shops with my mom, so many happy memories. I still have most of the items my mom bought and they are loved in Birmingham, Alabama US. Watching you guys reminds me of that happy and magical time.

Dear Kirsten and Joerg...thank you for sharing another part of English history...Being European I love visiting castles..there is a magic about it...trying to picture how people of that era lived and functioned there..and yes..that cold would make me feel how women would feel freezing walking around in dresses inside of stone building..like you said..no central heating...just that fire they made..When sun comes all is different isnt it..Tea places are becoming more modernized...it used to be all soups and sausages when I was growing up....SO excited to see your house hallway....big hug...Jana

What a great place! So peaceful and gorgeous! I'm watching this today, February 27th and here in Brazil it's summer but since yesterday we're getting fresher weather...it's 25 degrees. Last week we got 35!! I have to say, I would rather be getting this cold wind on my face than to be in this hot weather here. I love your videos! The songs are lovely!!

Another beautiful video showing us the other side of the pond. When it comes to the prints I think Joerg gets to pick next as the Queen was not quite to his liking but what a sweetheart to along with your choice. (That one really made me laugh). Lots of fun this excursion, popping into the antique stores (always a winner), braving the elements and as always, a bit of tea and cake. Thanks for taking us along.

Oh it was, he loves Queen Victoria, he was just hesitant because we still have so many prints in the house that need to be framed that was the only reason. Should have mentioned it as people now think he didn't like it which wasn't the case at all lol. Thanks so much for watching.

My family used go Shorpshire two times every year because my father's mother lived in Whitchruch.
