Beautiful Morning Light and Film Panoramas - Kodak Portra 400 & Fujifilm G617

Hello my friends!! Welcome back to my channel. In this video I head out to the always lovely Scenic Rim to shoot a couple of very specific compositions.
I used my Fujifilm G617, predictably, and shot on Kodak Portra 400, which is very unlike me!
I got some beautiful golden light and some images I am happy with!!
Let me know in the comments which is your favourite image!
Thanks so much for watching! I genuinely appreciate it.
If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing to mu channel.
I can't wait to see you again soon!
Nathan :)

I live in Idaho USA and my favorite times of the year are Spring and Fall. The Fall colors here are spectacular and the same goes for the Spring flowers. Summer is rather hot with 30 degrees Celsius being the average and Winter is generally 5 degrees C with many days of 0 or below not to mention the snow. Your sunrises are very nice but at 71 yrs and heart issues sunset is my favorite time.

I wish we got fall colour here! Our climate is subtropical, so winter is mild and summer is warm and humid. Spring and autumn are nice, but very minimal colour in autumn. Spring can be lovely though. Our winter rarely gets to 0, and then only once or twice a year, and it warms up quickly once the sun is up! No snow here, unfortunately!

Много пересветов на фото . Есть книга 📒 называется панорамная фотография 🖼 Ли Фрост , 2005 года . там написано как пользоваться фильтрами для съёмки . И как их крепить к объективу на фуджи 617 .

Yes, you might have noted in the video at about 7:40 I said something like "I left my filters at home. I could really use a Grad". I use filters regularly, I just forgot them this day. Thanks for commenting.

Great shots, enjoyed the video. I’m jealous of that 617, I think that format would be a dream for me around the Tamworth area

Justin, apologies for the weeks-late reply mate!! I forgot that I turned off notifications when I went on holidays!! Thank you for the kind words! I actually think 617 would suit you down to a tee!!

@@MeasuredLight Nah all good mate. I have hardly had time to scratch myself let alone get out and shoot. I do have 6x12 backs for my 4x5, maybe I need to get it out more often. Makes it hard to justify getting a 617 when I already own two 612 roll film backs, although 617 would be a dream camera

Looking good. You need a bigger tripod mate! I recently purchased a benro XL model that will really help with framing for such a large camera. Keep up the good work.

May I know which brand or model of your shuttle release cable? Any recommendations? I just got the same camera and considering to get a release cable. Thx.

Hi Angela, thank ls for watching 🙂 I would definitely recommend a shutter release cable for this camera. I'm afraid I don't know the make. It's one I got given without any packaging. But I do know the Gepe brand ones are very good.
