I have 2 large hang on the back filters on a 75 gallon with three Black Moor. 2 of the 3 are a foot long the third is only like 5/6inchs could I get away with adding one or two more a panda telescope or a butterfly goldfish?

You could add a couple more but I would really look at changing or increasing your filtration levels. HOB filters have very little room for mechanical and biological filter media in comparison to something like a canister filter. A large canister filter like the fluval 406 probably has the equivalent space to 6 HOB filters. Another alternative is to add a few large sponge filters and an air pump to help increase with the bioload. Thanks

I am setting up a 200 large tank from Fluval for cold water fish. I have just started a fishless cycle adding food to kick start the process. I am using Seachem Prime and Stability. Just now I am using a Fluval U4 internal filter supplied with the tank. I will eventually move to a Fluval 207 canister filer when I can. Can you advise me if this filter is quiet. Also I will be introducing air stones but again I need this to be quiet. Can you advise me of a very very quiet pump I can buy. It has to pass my wife noise level so need it quiet. 😂😂

Sounds great! Yes, the fluval series of canisters are nice and quiet. You can always add foam into the cabinet to help reduce any noise further. Air pumps can be loud, but I find the eheim ones are good quality and not too loud either. Hope that helps 🙏

You could whilst they were small (under 3 inches) but without very regular water changes and a large filter they may struggle a little over time and not reach their full potential
