​@@sharonsnow5685 in my opinion, definitely, and I'm going to have a try with it using a 6mm hook. Just not sure about solid colour or multi colour yarn.

I have some 3 weight carnival and butterfly wool I purchased from hobbi long time ago,wondering what it would be like in this shawl ?

This is the type of stitch that would be good done in that purple lacy yarn you have in yesterdays giveaway.
