Hello from Italy!
I am Morimi from La Cucinetta.
I live in Milan and import and sell Italian foods to Japan.
I live in Milan and import and introduce Italian foodstuffs to Japan.
This time, after the summer vacation, I went to Bologna on a day trip from Milan. Milan and Bologna are only one hour apart by express train.
Organic Fair SANA
The purpose of the trip was SANA, an organic food fair, but this year's fair was smaller than usual and ended early, so we were able to take a walk around Bologna.
At SANA, we met up with Lorenzo of Guelzoni, a balsamic producer and long-time business partner of ours.

BOLOGNA Historic Center
We ran in for a late lunch and managed to get the famous Bolognese (egg noodle tagliatelle meat sauce) and took a walk in the center of the city.
We spent a sudden rewarding time around Piazza Maggiore, the center of the city.
I was impressed by the library facing the square. I had no idea there was a cultural space in such a central location that anyone could use!
I was struck once again by the beauty of the cloister known as the Portico Politico.
I was also pleased to see that my favorite barbershop was still in business.
Capital of Food
Bologna is known as the capital of food.
Mortadella, tortellini, Emilia's famous balsamic, Parma ham, Parmigiano cheese, amarene (cherries), tigere (hot sandwiches), and so on.... Certainly a lot of typical Italian food!
It was an enjoyable walk.
This is my first vlog in a month, and I hope you enjoy it, although it is a very rushed version produced in one day!
