I couldn't agree more! It was a really interesting (and stunning) tour of Barmouth
My grandmother was born in 2 Porkington Terrace and her father my Great Grandfather owned 1 and 2 and was a sea captain. I understand that he purchased both from new. Thank you for your most interesting film about Barmouth which I enjoyed so much. Phill Neal, The Peacock, Leighton Buzzard.
We thoroughly enjoyed this video, especially at this time when, for an English couple, Barmouth is just not accessible . The Panorama view was how we spent mid morning on Xmas day 2019! Stunningly beautiful landscapes exuding timeless attraction to revitalise the soul! Works every time for us and has done for years. Thanks again.
A Fascinating talk 👍 thank you John
he should do tours of barmouth

I grew up here , went to ysgol - treath primary school . Then my secondary school was a trip on the train to harlech . Where the nearest castle to Barmouth is . I grew up on the rock over looking the mawddach estuary , the river that Barmouth bridge goes over ? Had my first born in Wrexham . Lived in my first flat down north avenue buy my old primary school 30 second walk from the beach … I will move back home one day . All my family still live their and I would be nice to see them all all the time again .
I used to live in Barmouth. My house overlooked the harbour on the hill to the left of Davy Jones Locker
Da iawn! Well done! Really enjoyed this. Lovely scenes and some fascinating history. Thank you John and Andrew. Diolch yn fawr!

Thank you, I enjoyed watching this. I've been wondering a bit about Barmouth and this was well presented. Combined it with Google street view so I could wander around while you were talking. Worked quite well though, of course, I couldn't go up the promenade view at the end.
John a great talk let down by your ‘sound man’. I still enjoyed it though.😀👍

Thanks Stephen - that was news to me. He was a Shrewsbury lad, apparently. I'll keep an eye out for a copy of Night of the Crabs!
