What a nice, modern transformation! You literally breathed new life into this shelf unit. I am glad you kept the glass shelves since the light at the top of the unit would nicely feature those pieces on the shelves. 👍 Very nice job!! 👏👏

Looks great! I’m so glad you didn’t leave the mirror in the background. I’m not a fan of glass shelves so I would have attempted to put wood shelves in.

It was definitely tempting! I was just trying to keep the cost down because this tall skinny ones don’t sell for much.
Love it! I’ve been looking for one with no luck. Like the open concept a lot better too

Yes, open concept it’s in! Keep looking, it took me like a year to find my first one, and six months to find this one.
Beautiful transformation as always. The gel stain was a great idea ! I love your staging too. I wonder if you could have saved yourself some work filling in the gap where the glass was with paintable caulk instead of the bondo?

Possibly, it crossed my mind, but the gap was pretty big that’s why I went with the Bondo route.

I guess I could but they would go straight to the garbage afterwards since Bondo dries as hard as a rock.

I removed the mirror, and attached it to the backing. Forgot to record that part, unfortunately. And thank you!
