Another Baxter Cycle vintage classic that looks great and runs even better. Love these old hotrods. Wow!

BSA 650 Twins (actually 654cc) of the '60's were beautiful bikes, esp. the Lightning. The Spitfire had higher compression for more HP, but they didn't bother to beef-up the lower end, so there were engine failures. Similarly, Norton's '72 Commando 750 w/ 'Combat' engine had the same problem. I had a '71 BSA Thunderbolt - 1-carb 650 twin - reliable & lovable (except it was 1st year of the taller OIF frames, so seat height & handling were slightly compromised.) I'd love to have a late 60's T-Bolt or Lightning now!

I actually just tried the jackets on at Baxter Cycle. I know that's not always an option. My regular shirt size, jacket size ect... is XL and the Khardung La Jacket I ended up with is a tight XL. So, sizing seemed about right. If anything I might have gone up to an XXL and been just as happy. Excellent question. Hope this helps. Wahoo!
