No USB Type C Deal Breaker

Got the brass and grey colored ones. They feel, look, and work amazingly. But idk I like my crushers, only for bass and the white and brown colorway. Never seen brown padding on a headphones before.

I just got the matte black headphones for $129 at Walmart which I thought was a great price. I’m very happy with them!

Tried them wasn't impress with the ANC did like the bass though they need to work on the sound stage though it just sounds off I thought comfort was good not great but good it would be nice to have a cord option in the next model

5:16 Beats didn t designed these with Apple because Beats it s Apple. Dr Dre sold the company a few years ago so it s only Apple s touch and work on these. The same with the powerbeats pro. It s not a collab between those two. Anyway nice video.

powerbeats pro and solo3's have always sounded pretty good (and tha'ts coming from a guy who owns about 15 different pairs of $150+ headphones. I love buying them new just to try)

I'm not a fan of beats but I was a fan of these until the lightning was missing, as well as the lack of a physical connection without another jack...

Too bad they don’t have wires for uncompressed FLAC music.

@@urbanistgod You really can't tell the difference between a well enough done lossy format to a lossless one. Not to mention things like the Sonys and the Boses (and the beats if they had the capability) would sound worse played with over a wire hooked up to a phone, since their on board amplifiers are better. They'd sound better if they were hooked up to something good, but then what's the point of getting wireless headphones to begin with.

Buy the Sony 1000xm3. It will sound better because Android supports LDAC, the high quality bluetooth streaming. iPhones and products made for "iphone users" do not.

@Ezugo Obuekwe that's ridiculous. I know it's a cost cutting measure but it isn't like in phones where they can use the excuse of saving space. These cost $400 and most of its direct competition have that feature, cost equal or less and are better products.

I think I'll take my Sonys instead. Or some Boses if I had some. Or chi-fi. Or those earbuds that come with your phone. Maybe not those wired earpods..

I have studio 3 would not recommend any beats slightly under average sound quality especially for the price and not very comfortable, just get airpods

You do realize headphones and wireless earbuds are not the same thing right? If your talking about flexing, everyone and their mom has airpods now LOL

These are no where close to the level of the Sony Wh1000XM3 or the Bose 700. Especially the noise cancellation. The noise cancellation on the Sony’s are just the BEST at the moment. Maybe sound quality and build quality is okay.

I would say please don’t buy these for 300 you can find the more matte ones all over the place for like 130-180 then they’re a good value

They look good but for 300 dollars, why would I buy these when I could buy the Bose qc35, Sony xm3 or the Bose 700 which are all better in almost every way?

Honestly, I don’t think they will remove the lightning port. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think they will. The new non-pro iPads, the new iPhones, the new Beats, the Airpods, the Magic Mouse and Trackpad, they all still have Lightning. Only the MacBooks, iMacs, and Pro iPads use USB-C

bluepeng889 they will because the mandate, compliance, that apple tried to avoid with the usb c to lighting cable isn’t helping them. The mandate required devices to support usb c Hardware wise. Meaning not a cable the actual device and if apple doesn’t follow with the iPhone it’ll be facing fines and more

Shashank Reddy people don’t want change. Remember how many people complained when they went from 30 pin to lightning. USBC is a messy standard that’s not standardized yet. Side effect, they also make money on the accessories. Lightning port is thinner, and Apple is making iPhones thicker now, perhaps to fit USB C

@Ezugo Obuekwe I didn't say it isn't superior. In fact if around the iPhone 5 era the USB C specs were finalized, they probably would've went with USB C. But that wasn't the case. Apple will probably do USB C on their redesign on the next version. tbh i think USBC should've used something the lightning port as the conductor. It's more durable since its a one piece construction unlike USB C which has a floating stub in the middle.

Those earcups are so small still tho....

These are "first looks" videos. He did mention later in the video that he was allowed only to test this indoors. With simulations of train noises and what not. So he couldn't even use his own phone or music to test and compare his "first impressions"
