The only negative thing about the showcase was I feel like they could have had more key matches added from Rey’s career. Other than that I absolutely loved it. The narrative from Rey and the transition from gameplay to real life were very welcome additions to showcase.

It was the best Showcase yet. Although I do agree they should have added more matches. What was there was awesome though. All that matters to me was they had the Halloween Havoc match with Eddie Guerrero. Otherwise what was the point?

i really think they should have had Rey Vs Edge more too cuz they had a huge rivalry on Smackdown for quite sometime. would’ve been really cool too if they were able to work something out to have Rey Vs Chavo Guerrero cuz they’ve had some really good rivalry matches throughout Rey’s Career.

I wouldnt call the cutscenes lazy lol the transitions are clean

I think the reason why he says it is because how often they use the transitions and how they won't let you play or even finish the match without using the cutscenes. Even using it on scenes that 2k could animate easily. It doesn't help they show the actually match footage so he can't even show it without the video getting taken down.

@@mnrmashups_ I don't think it's lazy at all. I think it's incredible how seamless the footage is sometimes. Especially for the matches that were filmed in HD. I think this was incredibly cool.

Undertaker one was rlly the only one that was unnecessary just so they could throw in another taker 😂 shoudlve used the eddie vs rey match I'm sure Vicky would've said it was fine For them to use her for eddie.

it would have been 10x better if their wasnt that super loud annoying music in EVERY match. If they just stuck to commentary whether it matched the match or not it would have made it a lot better

It was a really good showcase but it was still missing the more iconic matches like the eddie vs rey ladder match

Showcase was nice imo I don’t mind the real life cutscenes let’s you see the bits actual content of the match and shows you how the match actually ends and goes by at a nice pace, not too long not that short

One day I threw up at school but then I was fine so I did all the Rey mysterio showcase mode

I agree with Chris, the only thing meh in the showcase mode is the ending cutscenes, but still, a great showcase mode

@@punkzx2608 the royal rumble 2006 match would've been too complicated due to licensing, some of the wrestlers there aren't licensed for WWE 2K, same reason why Rey's WHC Wrestlemania win wasn't there, because Kurt Angle wasn't in the game. In my opinion, this showcase was doomed from the start because they didnt have the licenses for Rey's biggest matches.

That's what I always say...outside of people like TBar/Dijakovic, Mankind/Cactus Jack/Dude Love/Mickie Foley, Mia Yim/Reckoning, etc. Those are "legitimate different characters." But I don't need a ton of Reys, Undertakers, or whoever else they feel it necessary to give us a bunch of different variations, I would much rather have them as Alt Attires

I’ve been waiting for this video for over a month I finished this a long time ago also finished the bonus

as 2k22 is my first real wwe game I've played since at LEAST '05-'07, I'm a bit out of the loop for all the "good & bad" stuff, but honestly, this Showcase was super fun to play through, as I'm not super knowledgeable on a lot of wrestlers/their history, this was a super cool way to show off Rey's style and story, especially with the real/cutscene splits, I think it's super cool to include the OG shots

I love that they brought back showcase I wish they did that for wwe 2k18 a kurt angles showcase would be good

Even hopefully wrestling Duel is especially so funny and entertainment every video

there are some legendary ray matches that should've been in the showcase and weren't i absolutely loved it
