I have an official Atari gaming handbook and it says one of the game is "more fun than going to McDonalds"

aesthetically, let's go is gorgeous. would be awesome if they did a "lets go johto" in this style with 1) difficulty option settings and 2) fix the previous johto issues: dex/availability, gym leader teams, level curve. a man can dream!

Really...? I think Scarlet and Violet looks much better

The Pokemon guides honestly saved my 10yr old self a lot of head ache with advice on some of the more obscure evolutions, so it's nice to see they still make them!

After getting my hands on Let's Go Eevee in November, I can safely say that it's a great first experience for people who haven't played Pokémon before. It has a lot of QOL features of newer games, but also keeps the same feel of Kanto. The only thing that's out of place is Blue being in the main story, which kind of makes me question if it's a sequel or a remake.

I really want more lets go games, especially a gen 2 version. It was honestly really relaxing and fun, also just beautiful. I think people were way too harsh on these games, I didn't judge them until I played and even changed friends minds on it

I was never able to buy games as a kid so my first pokemon game I ever played was let's go eevee in college and it made me fall in love with the franchise! I still have fond memories of running back to my dorm to play on my friends switch after class

I love it how you name things like it kinda would show for a young child reading and playing the game. I did that in silver with the rival who steals a starter. He told me his name is ??? So I called him that. I never learned his name and thought that was his real name growing up. I am much more intelligent now.

On the guide for team rocket in mount moon, it did specifically point out poison being strong against fighting type *moves* and not the type itself.

I’m so happy to see a new Nintended video! These are honestly some of my favorite videos on KZread

These new games are so cool and colourful and it reminds of when Pokémon red came out

The “hammer away” at the beginning got me. PaPaSea has the best narration pacing

"Strong against Fighting moves" is another way t say resistant. It doesn't imply that poison types are super effective against fighting types.

Same. I just loved that game I was also in 3rd/4th grade when I got let's go eevee for Christmas

I do not care about what everybody says about this game, all i know is that the music in this game is fantastic. I love the orchestral style so much.

This in my opinion was the best Pokémon game on the switch imo. The art style is perfect it has mega evolution and you can catch all the starters, the red blue/ yellow story is one of my favourites. And the different ways you can battle like the master battles and the new unique moves for pikachu and eevee. I dunno why, its just my favourite. And! You can get Alolan Pokémon.

You can also catch almost any pokemon (dragonite, charizard, etc) even the legendary birds again in the wild. I just dont understand why have the alolan versions but no the evolutions from other regions … for example onyx -> steelix, eevee -> glaceon, etc

I generally recommend people play Eevee Version for this game, because there is a meaningful difference between them outside of version exclusives: Partner Eevee is HILARIOUSLY overpowered. Plus you get to see the majesty that is Baddy Bad.

Let's Go is very underrated and I'd even go as far as to say it's the best Pokemon game duo on the Switch right now, even if it's a remake of Gen 1.

Japan actually got red and green version (together) then got a slightly updated blue version while we got blue and red that was the same or very similar

There are/were actually Plans for gen1-3 packs for the switch (physical). Red,Gold,ruby and blue,silver,saphire They havnt been released yet and might be canned- but the Plans existed and might be announced with the next pokemon direct.. if so, probably limited Edition or sth..

04:02 The guide stated moves, not Fighting type Pokemon themselves, and thus in its own round about way states that Poison type Pokemon only take half damage; although, I fully agree that swapping out the ambiguous phasing with something like "Fighting type moves are not very effective against Poison type Pokemon" would be a much better way of wording that information.

Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee should have had the Orange Islands as a post game location also incase you didn't know those games are a remake of Pokemon Yellow hence the reason you can get all 3 starters from trainers and FireRed & LeafGreen are the best Kanto games.
