Wiki: Use ranged weapons to deal lots of damage, don’t get hit at all because you’ll die in 2 hits, so don’t try to tank the boss. Also wiki: Use melee armor so your have a lot of defense and can tank the boss.

tanking is essentially surviving consecutive hits, so they're saying that while doing that as a strategy to deal more damage is inadvisable, being able to do that to some degree if you have to is ideal.

@@KLIXORthe but it would be infinitely easier to just pick a class and use it because of the set bonus + damage boost. And in master mode, you REALLY need to focus on damage. Otherwise it’s a fight of endurance and you’ll lose every time

the wiki: Avoid skeletron until inbetween queen slime and the mechanical bosses. Also the wiki: Obtain a shadow key as it can unlock powerful weapons like the Sunfury to use against the Wall of Flesh. Also the wiki: After defeating the mechanical bosses, farm for the pumpkin moon medallion because it is definitely 100% obtainable before plantera. Lesson learned, never listen to wiki guides

But even if you wanted to defeat fucking skeletron in pre hardmode. Why doing it ONLY for the shadow key? Most of the dungeon enemies and loot is very good against the WoF and let's not talk about how some weapons can be upgraded in hardmode. Naturally if you wanted to survive, you would require a lot of good gear and weaponry, then WHY WAIT FOR HARDMODE IF SKELETRON CAN BE CHEESED/DEFEATED EASILY???? I just don't get it

Ah yes, using Megashark with Chlorophyte bullets against Master mode plantera is a great idea! It’ll be super easy to never miss the respawning tentacles. Also make sure to use turtle armour along side the megashark for the added melee damage.. wait… Anyway, its important that you keep a distance from the boss and never stop moving, so set up a *pool of honey* I am at a loss for words

Chloro boolets expensive and megashark doesn't have that much spread anyway unlike chaingun High-velocity boolets can damage 3 enemies with their piercing and easliy obtainable,so it is way better ammo for plantera

Something else completely incorrect in the guide that I don't think many people have pointed out yet is that flame wings aren't actually obtainable at the very start of hardmode. Fire feathers drop from red devils, which spawn after a mech boss has been defeated. The guide tells you to obtain the flame wings before fighting any boss.

Alright, for anyone wondering how much this guide got wrong, I have compiled a list of errors it made (Only doing factual errors, suboptimal strategies for bosses and progression are too numerous to count.) - In the section on the Eye of Cthulhu, it states that you should reforge your world evil gun, all fine and dandy, but one of the reforges (Legendary) can only be obtained on swords, not guns. - In the section on EoW & BoC, it recommends for Crimson worlds to obtain The Meatball from Crimson Hearts, even though The Meatball can only be crafted from Crimtane Bars and Tissue Samples, NOT from Crimson Hearts (I assume the author confused The Meatball for the Ball O` Hurt, a flail that can be obtained from breaking Shadow Orbs in the Corruption.) - In the section on the Wall of Flesh and final preparations for Hardmode, it recommends that you loot Shadow Chests for the weapons inside. Normally, this would be solid advice, but this guide states earlier that you should save Skeletron for after Queen Slime. Defeating Skeletron is required in order to enter the Dungeon, get a Shadow Key, and open a Shadow Chest. - In the section for Skeletron Prime, it recommends to farm for the Pumpkin Moon Medallion and Naughty Present after defeating it, which both require ectoplasm, which you can only get from the post-Plantera Dungeon. - In the section for the Lunatic Cultist, it states he only takes 75% damage from homing weapons. While the Lunatic Cultist does only take 75% damage from certain weapons, not all of them are homing weapons. If I missed anything, be sure to let me know and I'll add it to the list!

It’s even better as a summoner because you can effectively just afk the boss with next to no setup. I would’ve been able to do just that if I had also put walls inside my little wooden box and stopped wraiths from spawning.

I just came here from the video on techno blades channel about his death, still in tears, and I think you should know you’re a lot like him, keep it up

I just realised the guide (I'm 1/3 in the video) doesn't ever tell him to use potions for bossfights. The most overpowered tool. Potions make the game, even master mode a joke.

Ever since Brain of Confusion got a buff I always use that one. It's dodge chance is equal to the DR of Worm Scarf, so on average both will reduce taken damage by 17%. However, Worm Scarf only works against direct damage and not to debuffs. BoC dodge also allows you to evade any possibly inflicted debuffs from that hit. That and the 10% boost to crit chance and (which is unlisted, but is true nonetheless) minion damage. Edit: I highly recommend fighting moonlord using an asphalt sky-bridge with teleporters (with the outer blocks hammered to a slope to prevent losing speed) on both ends. Place campfires, and heart lanterns so you cover the entire area, drink a swiftness potion and... run. With that potion alone you can reach around 90 mph using frostspark or terraspark boots. This allows you to outrun almost all of his attacks with the exception of his big eye beam. Though you'll outrun it more than 50% of the time getting hit isn't much of an issue anymore since you'll regenerate enough health to take another sneak off-screen attack.

can we just mention that the wiki said kill skeletron in hardmode?

my mans focused his videos around copying UberDangers one terraria video, same jokes, same ear rape, just everything is 50% less funny because every 5 words he makes almost an exact ripoff of something Uber did at some point, i didnt even try to find him copying all this shit i watched one video and was baffled so came here and started reading other people noticing it to but just thinking nothing of it
