I've found that stacking pp for improved relations with wife and negotiations is suboptimal. Saving up only enough for a political advisor and getting a feline prince of terror into finishing the focus "romantic gesture" into "southern strike doctrine" usually works better in my experience.

Nice little speedrun! Everyone always talks about how hard it is to do all the focuses to get a wife: shower, clean your room, get a job, etc. etc. But no one ever discusses just how expensive it is in PP to negotiate with the wife adequate HOI4 time...

@@bigbenhgy it operates by chance with a 70% chance of divorce. although if you do the focus "become redpilled and based" it flips the percentage points.

Found this out in the middle of my run lol. Still went for it and was so close to pulling it off. Took port of Hiroshima and was one tile away from having 50 divisions in home islands but got bounced.

You should have 100x more subscribers, at minimum. Amazing stuff.

You are literally giving me inspiration and passion to play this game. Thank you so much

F*** ing hell the devs fixed the glitch. Now planning time is required every time you shift units to ongoing naval invasions.

i’ve tried this method a lot, and found that there are always divisions on osaka and hiroshima, is this based on anything game-wise or luck based?

I'm pretty sure that I address that in my explanation. You have to keep an eye on exactly those high value VPs and if there's a division garrisoning it, you need to bait it away from that tile or hope for it to move away by itself. It's crucial to pin any divisions trying to reinforce those VPs.

NOOOoooo... it doesn't work after BBA anymore... They fix it :( well, I'm going to wait for your next mind-blow speedrun for china. And will you mind also showing how to beat Soviets too? Everytime try to take Mongolian, Soviets rush in. And pushing it from Siberia is even harder than beating Japan. If you push it with German, German will take most of the land since all victory points are on the west.

Unfortunately no. At least not like this. Day-1 invasions still work in 1.12, but naval spam (sending wave after wave without delay) has been patched.

@@m3an Actually, not fully patched. You may send 10 divisions, stop battle plan, unassigne one division that leave port, assigne one extra division, unassigne one more attacking division and launch the battle plan again. After that, it can be repeated more simple, because one invasion slot is available. It is more difficult than previous version and may not be useful for China, but still kinda work :)

You need to unassign the divisions after they've left the port, otherwise the capacity for naval invasions remains fully used.

Sorry for the late reply, didn't get a notification for your comment for some reason. The run is very fragile when it comes to landing in Japan. You absolutely need to avoid combat and instead try to bait hostile divisions off of VPs instead of fighting them directly.

You are rather a hacker instead of gamer. What you doing in this video is not real. For example with 15 early chineese ships you can't reach naval superiority on 5-6 areas vs japanesee fleet LOL. But it must be admitted that you make good use of the game's flaws.
