It’s much easier to reach 4,000 trophies now, and you’ll always get there no matter what deck you use because you will run into bots that basically let you win. If you look at the names of the players everyone with a one word name and no clan is a bot, which is why it was so easy to progress when you got close to a new arena.

As an amazing nab i've been doing exactly same challenge by an accident xD Also got musketeer and baby dragon and i've been playing so much i didn't even want to make a new deck until i get many good cards to prepare a solid deck with- reached 4k trophies with this deck a few months ago and it was only then when i finally made some new deck to play the leagues

I don't know if it is possible, but try to beat the game switching everytime the deck's cards with the arena you are curently at. You can keep one single card in the deck for the entirety of the challenge. (ex : you chose arrows, keep arrows "forever" in the deck)
