Nice video! also they just added a saving feature a few days ago so you dont have to play everything in one go anymore, it auto-saves after beating specific areas so yeah

Not gonna lie, I do get a kick out of watching non-vtuber fans play these games. It's particularly interesting to see how well they hold up as actual games themselves, rather than just vehicles for fan service, if that makes sense.

Either yesterday or today the run save thing was added so you can get out of a run and continue after unless you start a fresh one, which will overwrite the previous run

For reference, the likes / dislikes in Holo X Break are based on knockdowns. You get one dislike whenever you get knocked down, which doesn't *seem* to do anything really - other than count for achievements that is. Game is otherwise a fairly standard rogue(lite?? like?? it doesn't QUITE work like one as there isn't a ton of randomization in enemies, just equipment...) where you get gear to help improve your character that is wiped each run. Only things saved between runs are emotes (from money gacha from the book AO in rest zones) and a single set of "beat the game" unlocks. Everything else is rendered unto zero each run, gear, money, even level.

Oh and top face button (Y on xbox, triangle on playstation controllers) lets you drop the current item from the 5 inventory slots under your character! Hold left/right trigger to assign the current item to a press of those buttons as well.

Only added this to my active backlog cos it's a GWolf video. I don't watch any VTubers so skipped ahead to see what type of game it was. It's a beat-em-up, a genre i'm not interested so i moved on to the next thing in my backlog cos it's over 1000 videos now and i keep getting distracted by Discord so need to not waste time.

There is something funny about you questioning if the X is silent when the game literally pronounces the title for you on the title screen. (Yes it is silent)
