    Odds for 5 & 9: Unknown if you wanted to keep this simple or forgot, so I will dare to raise my hand. At 19:48 a 9 was rolled. You placed single odds behind the line per the strategy. Of course, you know even odds for numbers ending in E does not shortchanged your payout.

    I like the idea of this low budget strategy, but I would skip the field bet on the comeout and rather do $3 craps check. This way you can utilize the your winning odds on the pass line and you will always have $18 for the 6 or 8 after the point is established.

    I just used this strategy on my cruise last week at the $5 limit. I modified it to $17 at risk so that I could always have at least two numbers covered once the point was established if my field bet lost. If it won, I got three covered. I then never touched the field until a new shooter. I was lucky enough to be a part of a 43 and a 41 roll turn on two different nights I played and walked away with 160 dollars in profit. It was an absolute blast! The table was cleaning house. There were a couple high rollers there who pulled down thousands, they had to bring more chips to the table twice one night. I wish I would've been betting heavier but I just don't have that bank roll and you never know when big red is coming. Still I want to thank you for your channel. It gave me the confidence to walk up to the table knowing a little bit about what I was doing.

    I’ll give this a go as well. A $500 buy in will last at least 15 shooters since more than likely they won’t all PSO. I still remember the one time I bought in at the craps table in Resorts AC for $200 & left with $3500. I came with a similar low roller strategy ($15 on the 5 & 9 or the 4 & 10), and the by the end of one shooter I had $240 on the 6 & 8. So this will be added to my arsenal. Thanks Jeremy!

    This is awesome, I always hated hearing the “odds is the best bet in the house” line because it just felt like throwing money away (even if I understand the math of it). Having a way to benefit from odds without breaking the bank and still having some play for hot streaks is a huge pop!

    I was so optimistic for this strategy! Then I tested it out for myself assuming a $25 table and $500 bankroll. $60 per shooter. Come out 5, 6, 8 came up frequently in my rolls, hard 6/8 only hit maybe twice. I had alot of 7 outs before hitting any numbers, which I understand is just variance. I still leaning towards the improved iron cross, even for a relatively low buy in, for my next casino trip

    Great low budget strategy, especially for newbies trying to learn the game. Can learn how to move around the table for cheap, and a $30 profit after playing for a half hour is worth the fun. Everyone want's to win big but being able to stay on a table for some time and not walk away under is always a win.

    Hello. (Kind of newbie here). Question for you if you don't mind. At 22:22 you're rolling to establish a point, and you roll a 6. There were still chips on the "5" and "8" from before. What if, instead of rolling a 6, you would've rolled a 5 OR 8 to be the point, one of the two numbers with chips on them still? Would those chips on the 5 (or 8) paid anything as that 5 (or 8) would've been rolled to become the point, or were they not in play or some sort of "turned off"? Thanks.

    My wife and I tried this strategy tonight for a few hours but it hurt us more than it helped us. We think it’s a cool strategy and it can certainly help minimize losses, but we kept getting hurt by all the 6s and 8s getting rolled on the field bet. Not enough other numbers getting rolled so ultimately we lost money. I really did like this strategy though and I will likely try it again tomorrow.

  • @ColorUp

    @ColorUp

    just depends on how the dice roll. i guess the good thing about a 6/8 being rolled and field loss, is now your pass line bet is on a great number...but again, that doesn't matter if dice do not cooperate and roll those good numbers again.

    How would it affect the strategy if, instead of $36, you risked $45. Played in the same way when the point is 4,9, or 10. You place the six and eight at $18, total $36. But, if you roll the 5,6, or 8 as a point, place single odds behind to try and win the Money back. It would cost more but roll in more often. Still very new to craps, but I think you could put $14 behind a point 5 roll. If not we would have to make it $16 for a $46 risk.

    Jeremy how are you finding craps attracting new players? Seems to be going in the opposite direction where I am. The 2 closest casinos to me actually removed their craps tables. I'd say in the past 10 years it's gone from 3 tables, down to 1 table, down to roll-to-win, then nothing at all.

    Not sure why you are re-playing the Field after hitting a point. As you said at the beginning, the only goal for the Field is to get you the extra to place your first two box numbers. If you have those after hitting the point, wouldn't it be better to just save it and replace your odds after a new point is established?
