Tim, I’ll say this with no attempt to offend and with a maximum level of respect: Your musical magic and depth was to its best level in the days of Da Bassment. You were mastering the beat part, while Missy and in some cases Devonte were adding musical depth and meaningful melodies to your music. These can be felt from the days of “Welcome To Our World” all the way to 2002’s Ms Jade “Girl Interrupted” From 2002 onwards, you did venture in other areas musically and was successful at it, as demonstrated when you made Justin Timberlake’s What Goes around… ending part which was 100% Timbaland However, despite the high anticipation, the delivery has been missing a key element that used to separate you completely from the rest of the universe: the perfect combination of Missy’s musical depth and in many early days, Devonte’s touch. Nowadays it is more bland and mechanical, with no real meaningful melodies and they seem directionless if you see what I mean. An album collab or a resurgence musically with Missy (I’ve stumbled across a few good songs that you guys made between 2002 and 2012ish) like the good days or even allowing sometimes Devonte back in your circle (I understand he was an A-hole though) would be something from out of this world.

@ArmorInPlace I feel you in a way but on the other hand, that's the definition of an ass kisser. No offense. I still appreciate and love his musical abilities and talent. What is the point of rating anything if you can't provide a critic? I'm sure you have artists that you appreciate and love, but you don't have to love every single track of every single album that the artist ever released in his entire musical career... I remember in 2005 when Timbaland went on BET and said that he was tired of HipHop and all the political behind-the-scenes politics. It sucked but I had to respect his opinion. Then he tried to release his own music years later on his "Timbaland Thursdays" which was actually SOLID music. Sadly his label (at the time) got mad at him and made him delete his personal releases. I'm not dismissing the obvious talent that he has, i'm just stating actual facts, that's all 😉
