it's actually not that dark, I suppose you're thinking about death/suicide. It's actually just talking about the younger generation not needing to listen to the older generation, to move away from the status quo and make their own lives. It's shown in the lyrics "We don't need the rule of yesterday", meaning that the past's rules do not fit into today's society.

@@8ullred846 Death/suicide was the last thing that came to mind. I was interpretting the lyrics more along the lines of a speech rousing revolution and the lower class trying to get others of the class to start a movement. The idea of it being more political in nature was probably derived from the lyrics "Breaking down the border, Tearing down the sides" being taken more literally on my part but I can see why it can be applied to youth and breaking from societal norms

I take it as society look on us and that they just want us to agree and not argue with them because their scared of the change that could happen if wen didn’t agree. But that’s just my idea. :)

If anybody wants to know the meaning of the song it means the following: It’s referring to the government where ever you may live (They just want your moving up and down) this line is referring to the government wanting you to agree with everything they say. ( we can feel an order getting in our way) meaning they can feel people breaking the law. (They got inside your head flip it upside down) This is referring to the fact that they think your thinking against them so they persuade you to think that they right. This song is pretty dark if I’m being honest

Look at the combo and it'll tell you wether she actually got them or not. But she got a pretty big combo in the middle, the beginning and end are smaller ones which will tell you.
