Together Forever Tour. I remember seeing Run DMC and the Beastie Boys perform at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, La back in summertime 87. One heck of a show it was no doult.
It's too bad they couldn't get back together. Get in that exact same van and do a drive by of Slim Jesus. I miss the beastie boys and Run DMC
Those were the days. I actually remember this commercial and a few others with them. Such a great time, remembering the girl I was with at the time, such a great year in a great decade. I want to go back.

August 15th 1987 in Washington DC (actually Landover, MD at the Capitol Centre!!!! I'll never forget this show!! Davy D featuring DJ Hurricane opened for both acts & preformed jams from his forgotten Def Jam LP Davy's Ride that summer!! Beastie's took time out in the middle of their set to sing Happy Birthday to their road manager up on stage!! You haven't heard anything till you heard the Beastie's half blitzed trying to sing the verse of Happy Birthday on stage in front of thousands of fans!!! It was insane!!
80's was just too much fun. Damn i miss it.

Saw this tour in Sacramento when I was 17...they had dj Hurricanes decks on a platform hanging from chains. Whenever he scratched the whole rig would start to take these long sways...he'd have to stop. I want to say LL Cool J opened for them all.

I lived it and I loved it ❗ Wow❗The fantabulous 80's❗ I have a new pair of the Adidas RUN DMC sneakers that I pulled out of the original shoebox . I shared the moment with my son (27) . He has a great appreciation for music . He knows who RUN DMC are. Those days were sweet then. RUN DMC were great during all of our youthful days and they were certainly talented trendsetters ❗
