We’ve been visiting the mountains for years. I’ve always thought bearskin lodge looked like a cool place to stay, but we’ve never stayed there. It was good to see a review and see the inside of it.

I love the looks of the room and how spacious it looks. The walk-in shower was a bonus for us since we need a walk-in shower due to my husband's balance issues. We have had issues with alarm clocks going off in the middle of the night. We have also had fire alarms wake us up in the middle of the night where we had to go outside until the all clear was given. Another time we had a fire alarm go off during the day. We were on the 5th floor and had to use the stairs since you can't use an elevator during an emergency. Thankfully the issue was cleared and we were able to go back up to our room via the elevator. The unexpected adventures of staying in a hotel!

It was very spacious but with a cozy feeling with the fire place. The shower was really nice too. Yeah, the alarms can go off at any time as we've learned also. Thank you so much for watching and sharing.

We had such awesome 4 day trip last weekend in PF. Gondalier Friday night we love there food. Smokey Mt Pancake house, Old Time Pottery Grill and cooking in the cabin off Pine Mt rd. Shopping.. go carts behind Shoneys. Love your videos to keep us updated and get my Mt fix. Thank you.

So glad you had a good stay. We (church of Christ) have stayed there for the last 15-16 years for our winterfest event. We love it. Always beautiful and the staff very kind. We try to get a room by the river it's so relaxing.

We stayed here about 15 years ago it was nice then but it looks like they’ve done some renovations since then that made it even nicer. I like that the rooms now have no carpet ! And the bathroom showers look much nicer too. Thanks for doing this review

We love Bearskin Lodge On The River. Great staff,clean spacious rooms and some with fireplaces and balconies. One block from the parkway and restaurants. Thanks for the video. We enjoy all of your videos of Gatlinburg. We like the Two Queen Room with the balcony also. We had the street view room while there in May.

Love Bearskin lodge stayed there many times . Easy access love using the bypass Before Covid hit they used to keep fresh baked cookies in the lobby nice place thanks for sharing

We just returned from Bearskin lodge and I have to tell you our alarm went off TWICE early in the morning. I remembered your video and had to come back to see which room you had.... we had room 315. I also remembered from this video to unplug alarm. Still love this place and will return 😆

Wow so nice Bearskin Lodge. My mom and I will plan vacation in Gatlinburg. Thank you sharing your video. Oh love room very nice and balcony views very nice too. 🫶🏻❤️

I like the Bearskin Lodge because the Texas Roadhouse is just down the street! That has changed now because the Roadhouse has been closed permanently! I still can’t believe they closed the roadhouse permanently! I have eaten there many times ,got some if the best steaks I have ever eaten there! Now I have to go to Pigeon Forge to eat at the roadhouse there! Great video,great place! Y’all stay safe out there!

Looks nice, the kids would love pool area outside. Love rocking in a chair with fire. We have stayed at Appy Lodge. It was nice, but few issues. Elevators not working, hot tub not bubbling, luke on temp and they were three hrs behind on checkin to clean room. They did reimburse our stay two wks later.

We have been visiting the GSM's for 40+ years and always take time to visit G'burg for a spell. We began staying at the Bearskin when it first opened and have never stayed anywhere else since. It's the only place we'll stay. We prefer that side of G'burg due to the proximity to the park, but it's the more quite side for sure. We have stayed in over a dozen of the area's hotels over the years, but I promise you, the Bearskin is the best. Also, The Peddler directly next door is the top restaurant in all of G'burg IMHO. Last, make sure you ask for a creek side room.

I had forgotten the name of it until you said it was next to the Peddler. Now I remember it. I was thinking, you can eat at the Peddler and not spend as much $$ if you just go for the salad bar, which is great, and then have the chocolate cake. That would be a nice meal.

Curious if Bearskin Lodge is owned by the same people who own Old Creek Lodge. That wallpaper is the exact same as in the room we stayed in at Old Creek, plus the rustic furniture looks the same. We also strangely had a huge amount of floor space. Awesome video!

It is actually owned by the same people as I work at the Old Creek so it is def confirmed this is true. The bear skin has made some improvements since this video was released.

Hi Michelle! Only for a little while....those fireplace's are on a timer and it couldn't keep up with the cool air. No better sound then running water to sleep.

we usually unplug the clock radio upon arrival if there is one.

The Dr. says I'm depressed, I told him you take a guy that is active as am and has problems walking it's a bit depressing. I will be praying about your skin condition. This would be a handy place to stay for driving across the Smokies into Cherokee. We have never stayed in Gatlinburg because we thought it would be too noisy. Is it quiet at the lodge?

Have they replaced the mattresses? Last time we were there they were wore out. They had started letting church groups stay there unsupervised kids might explain the set alarm. Always check them before you go to bed.

We love it but the prices have really gotten high over the years. We did that once in the summer we left the door cracked so we could hear the water all night.

Karen and Mike I absolutely love that hotel I was just here earlier this month celebrating my birthday. I stayed there for a week and enjoyed the sound of the river. It was awesome and the staff was great of course I had a room with a Riverview leave the door open just as you guys did and listen to the River
