Probably 1 of my top 10 favorite videos in my 30+ years of bear education. WOW these young sibling brown bear brother n sister have each other's backs. They are bout 3 yrs old probably just ran off by mom. They will stay together weeks possibly months until she grabs attention of a boar or he gets a female. Anyhow awesome seeing him protect he and his sis food source. warms the heart these videos ill say.👍👍

We get to see a marvelous video, without the idiots narrating, and also minus the annoying, non-associative music...just a natural situation unfold in a wild area with over a dozen participants vying for the prize, and your brain-cells tell you to complain about the volume!...the damned volume! Technically tigers don't in the sense they don't fight other than for territory but if a bear or another tiger cross their path the fight can go for the bear or the tiger usually tigers ambush their prey so the tiger unless hungry won't fight head on a bear but will do of its hungry enough bear vs tiger can go either way do depending on the size and 2 or 3 tigers hunting will eat bears as a free dinner they're probably the scariest animal in a pack

Standing up looking then troting in he thought he was do some damage until he found out not 1 or 2 wolves or 3 or 4 he kept coming. He was big boy. . until all yhe wolves stood up out of the grass. About 20 of them they lite his big behind up. ! He got lesson. Big pack he is not the boss. Gizz are smaller in lower 48 why? They will say inland besrs no solman . Ok but old days grizz in 48 very big why? Wolves. Reintraduced

@@hehateme542 your wrong wolves eat grizzly cubs all the time ! And bears eat wolf pups. When ever they get the chance . Their are real big bears in Yellowstone that don't sleep in winter they just follow wolf Pac a steal the kill. It makes for really large bears and bigger . 1100 lbs bear never seen before staying out all winter until return of the Wolf . wolves can and do kill mature bears when hungry enough and pack is big enough. A in prime big bear not as likely but weak or older bear or injured bear is dinner. Like I said the bear thought just a few wolves when he came to scam on their kill he found out real quick a bunch of wolves the ripped his ass! Repeatly biting him in his ass . the bear was in big trouble . wolves can take down mature full grown healthy bull buffalo only certian packs can do it. It takes them hours to do it never the less they do it . no differant with grizzly they can and do kill and eat full grown mature bear rare yes . but cubs it's regular accurance with mom right their fighting . they still eat their cubs . look nto it dummy .wolf is apex preditor everything is on the menu. bears eat each other too they are canibals they do it on regular basis lots of videos wolves eating bear cubs. Wolves the biggest threat bear to cubs. Wolves is even more threat than big male horny & hungry bear yes wolves eat the bear . all the time I bet bear cub tastes good!

S Stritmatter The bigger bear is mom, and as the cub is nearly as big, it's likely their last season together. Alone, the wolves would annoy the single bear enough, that she'd leave...but when there are two, the wolves know it's hopeless. If the bears can cover each other's flanks & rear, wolves can't get in. 10-15 nips at over 700psi each, can damage the bear eventually, which is why a single bear under 600lb will usually run fairly quickly, especially if it's a very large pack. 20+ member packs are quite formidable, and would take a sow like this, and 2-3 same size cubs to defend a meal against them. Those small bites to the back of the bears legs, will do damage.

@@justplainbrad7713 the wolves were smart to not press their luck too much. A mother grizzly bear is the most dangerous animal on the planet. Those nips that you're talking about mean nothing as no member of the pack would have risked a frontal attack. In this case the Cub is nearly full grown which is why you see the mother is more concerned about protecting their food source than focused 100 percent on the Cub.

All needed, is the one bite that breaks flesh, and then infection is real. Ever see a 3-legged bear? Likely from nips. In the name of all that's decent, quit disagreeing simply for the need to differ. In other words, grow up. You couldn't be more wrong, if you tried to be wrong. The last thing you should do is lecture me on, "In this case"...as your knowledge is limited; and you would be better served if you asked what was happening, and not try to lecture others in matters you read about.

Yes, I saw that too. It displayed very submissive behaviour, and then tried to re-join the pack, but they were not having it. Perhaps, a former member which has been thrown out for some reason, and was showing signs of poor health. Nature can appear cruel sometimes, but survival of the fittest ensures continuance of the species, and life. I wonder why he was rejected by his pack, this or another one, who look much bigger and healthier. Maybe he was the dark wolf of the family.
