GoHerping Just so u know, fresh ripe mango is awesome, especially sprinkled with a little Lucas mexican candy with the red top. I find the sweetest ones have a good amount of yellow & display all 3 colors. Green, red, & yellow. 💚❤💛 Mango was also the very best flavor of Taco Bells freezies but they REFUSE to bring it back!!!

Sometimes they close the one eye that's facing you to make your hink they dont want it but their other eye is open. Lil tricksters. I love how each beardy has it's own personality, it's so fun to read how they feed about certain foods and activities. My beardies the squishy cuddle type. He likes to be I between two things all squished up against it whether it's against my side and the bed or under a pillow, or on my chest with a blanket and hand on top. Hes very cuddly in general but hes super picky and doesnt really like alot of the foods in the vid. He'll eat collards and some other veggies I lf I leave a bowl out but he wont eat squash.. squash is hard to cut up anyways for me so I dont gotta deal with it

Funny also how largish lizards like blueys and beardies will brush away unwanted food with opprobrium- 'Nahhh! What's this? Not what I call food' You can cook some food also to make it palatable for fussy eaters. Yeah some people claim 'no cooked food in nature' but even this is probably B.S. Food sometines cooks on the hot stones, rocks in their native environments. Dried, dessicated foods eventually. Would surprise me greatly if lizards didn't sometimes eat effectively 'cooked' eggs in nature.

I like uncooked squash more than my beardie. We both love peppers, pears, kale, and RIPE mangos. We both also love flowering broccoli/kale/cabbage, with the stems full of sweet, tender, tiny yellow blossoms. I mostly give them to him because he is such a picky eater. One day he loves a thing, then he demands an immediate break until what I bought or picked is gone. His favorite food is “yellow.” Really. Anything yellow-peppers, flowers, squash, you name it.

As an owner of a Beardie, who else just loves watching them eat? I swear it is the cutest and most entertaining thing ever! :'D

I love how when hand feeding beardies you need to wave it and wiggle it to make it more interesting for them. They're so funny it reminds me of "here comes the airplane~"

Ya, I know, replying to a 3 year post, but I literally did the airplane this morning with my beardie's food dish as I brought it into his tank. And I am a 35 year old who works heavy machinery in a lumber facility. Needless to say, my little dude watches me prep his food in the morning and leaps into his dish most of the time as I put it into his tank lol. Very fun to watch and helps put a smile on my face while at work.

Damn your personal beardie is like hulk size in comparison to others

With the orange pepper.. I've found that personally my dragon prefers orange peppers over yellow and red. I think he just thinks orange looks yummy! 🖤 I LOVE your videos by the way. You have a great sense of humour and all your videos are very educational and cute ✨

Kris Bell we only use orange because I don’t like the way green, red, or yellow taste...in that order. Lol! Our beardie loves the orange! 👍

Guys i find this really odd because my beardie LOVES red pepper til the ends of the earth and its by far his favourite but if i put any other colour pepper in there he wont touch it. H will be like hell nah

Bell peppers and blueberries are literally the only thing he’ll eat

"the one and only fruit-" "technically tomato is a fruit, so is the mango." also the pepper and squash! The vegetables are actually outnumbered (botanically speaking of course)

Foodie info incoming, green peppers have a far more earthy taste but you can really only tell when their home grown, otherwise they have to much water. Butternut squash is actually pretty high in sugar but you need to cook it to taste it. And yes there are different kinds of pears.

Huh. I wouldn't call green bell peppers more earthy, not that it's incorrect at all, I just don't really use earthy as a description unless I'm talking about teas. I just think of green bell peppers as far more bitter than the other bell peppers (and also the type I eat the most of because the satisfying bitterness goes so well with a lot of things). Yellow/orange peppers usually have a nice medium sweetness, and red bell peppers usually are the sweetest of them all with often but not always a very sweet fruity flavor. Red pointy paprika peppers usually have a less fruity flavor than red bell peppers but still sweet, and white paprika peppers are this really nice mellow bitterness and usually goes well with dishes you'd prefer to use white peppercorns with over black ones. Edit: ...I have a Hungarian relative. I guess she brainwashed me a lot more than I had realized.

You have to squeeze a mango to tell if it's ripe. When it's ripe, it will have a soft but firm feel to it. BUT AS A MANGO LOVER I MUST SHUN YOU FROM MY SIGHT. #BEGONEHEATHEN Edit: Alex you're trying me now how dare you not know what a pear is! Edit Edit:🤦‍♀️

My male beardie LOVES zucchini, i use a peeler and remove the green coat since its too waxy for them then i make thin chips with peeler for him

Mango is a favorite for my beardie. He's also an eating machine and would eat everything on that table without pausing.

Beardies are the funniest animals just because sometimes their reactions are incredible, like when I'm tryna feed some kale and he just closes his eyes. Bruh. Watching them chase mealworms is hilarious also
