If they can eat spiders without problems i dont see the harm in the trial of a red velvet ant. If you been stung by one you'll understand, it isn't pleasant.

They can’t eat those. What website did you look on, Reddit? They eat meal worms/wax worms.

It’s just a test bro, and you do know they eat more then than right? It’s not like meal worms are their food source in the wild.

@@KingDrakoTyrellbut is it in the wild? why risk it your pet I'm sure the wild ones don't eat those because of the color and only lizards I know of eat ants are horned toads and thorny devils not no velvet ants

@@tguy4257 there’s no risk they don’t have any venom, its just a test to see what there pet would eat. And yes I know they probably don’t eat ants in the wild but I’m saying it’s not like meal worms and wax worms are in the natural habitat.

@@tguy4257 and yes they have a sting but if the bearded dragon ate it it wouldn’t be able to sting

@@KingDrakoTyrell I'm sure some form of beetle larvae and moth larvae in there natural habitat I'm just saying in captivity why would you take the risk venom or no venom wouldn't want to harm them and I'm pretty sure it got stung why it spit it out lesson learned
