Having a longer beard.. Those washes that strips it... Make it feel brittle and gross. Ive tried soooooooo many! I ordered this.... Gonna give it a try. . I'll keep you updated...

I initially purchased Nitro and Envy. Both are excellent IMHO. Nitro’s coffee scent impressed me so much that I ordered Leaded within a few days. With that purchase, I also ordered two of the beard oil samplers. Over a couple of days, I went through the samples and ranked them in order of preference. In preferential order, my favorites are as follows: Nitro, Grizzly Puncher, Leaded, Top Hat, Envy, Merica, and Liquid Gold.

Nitro is my favorite coffee scent, love it in the mornings. Envy is also a great cologne scent, anytime. Downshift is a unique chill scent I enjoy after an evening shower. Their neutral conditioner is also amazing. Great company, great products, been using the Envy LCW for about 6 months.

Yup, LCW is 1 of my 3 go to washes and it lathers better than ANY. Liquid Gold it a great scent and I also like the Mechanic a lot.

Gave the Nitro scent a shot after watching this video after it first aired and it has become a mainstay in my arsenal. An absolute top tier product. Thank you for the heads up on this one, man.

LCW is great stuff. And a little goes a long way. I’ve been working on the same bottle for almost a year.

LCW is one of the absolute best daily beard washes. Octane butter is a very good product. Oil is too thin for me, but they have some great fragrances.

I really loved the ROOSEVELT collab they did with Matt from NoBs. I don't think they have restocked it but my personal favorite scent because of how unique it is. And the DOWNSHIFT is a mighty fine sce t for the wife. She's addicted lol. Awesome video SCUBA. You gotta do a ICT meet-up one day. 👊

Agreed. Liquid Gold is "sweet" oud when really, the stanky kind is where it's at!

I use butters more than oils and I really like beard octane’s barbershop butter. I got the downshift butter afterward to try something new and I am not a fan of the scent.

I use that conditioner and I really love their CBD line also as for scents I don't know I have always order unscented from beard octane

My LCW doesn't really foam up at all!

Hey scuba, sounds like we share the same type of beard. Mine happens to have a lot of grey to it and is pretty tough to work with at times but I’m telling you beard octanes full spectrum cbd line and I love the coffee and blueberry scent in there nitro and this stuff is a game changer. This shit makes my beard soooooo soft I came use a fine tooth comb and comb through it as I usually have to use a detangle brush

Been using beardoctane for about 5-months to a year now, very good stuff!!!

I really love Ginger jamboree and Nitro. I also really liked defiance but that 1 is no longer available I hope they bring that back one of these days. The LCW is indeed a game changer it's my favorite wash that I've tried.

Have you tried Acqua di Parma beard wash and beard serum? Im using them for a week and they feel amazing. I have a short beard for the moment but they just feel like its the right thing

Beard Octane has one of the best beard washes ever with LCW (been using it for almost 3 years). Also their beard butter and in shower beard conditioner are amazing! 💯🔥👊🤘

I like buying sample packs when available and that's what I did with beard octane. I was highly disappointed with the purchase. You get 6 drams, which only comes out to 3/4 of an ounce total between the 6 bottles but it's still $20 for that little bit of oil. Also, since there isn't much in the bottles, you can't really smell the product until it's in your hands and beard. I got samples of the Apple Pie, Envy, Ginger Jamboree, Nitro, top hat and liquid gold and the only one that I really like the smell of is the apple pie. I like the feel of their oil in my beard, but everything else about the product I wasn't thrilled with

Oil is always a bit more expensive when you're buying the sample packs, which is understandable, because the packaging costs them more. You almost never get as much oil for your money when buying a sample pack compared to buying a bottle of a single scent. Their oils are not my favorite. I'm not a big fan of fractionated coconut oil or thinner oils. Just my personal preference. Many people love them. However, their wash and conditioner are great (at the top of my favorites) and the owner, Joe is an awesome guy. The customer service is excellent and you couldn't support a better company.

Beard Octane's LCW is my absolute favorite and go to beard wash.

How does it change the industry? My understanding is cowash is the process of using conditioner as a wash. Basically a thinned out conditioner when sold as cowash. Adding a bubble making agent to a light conditioner isn't game changing

It's not a conditioner. Despite its name it really is just a beard wash. But it is great, it lathers really well with very little and does a fantastic job cleaning the beard. Also Mister beard tube isn't up on his research as cowashing with conditioner turns out isn't a good thing.

Sorry should have explained my thoughts on it better. Was planning on making a separate video about it. It cleaned my beard better than a cowash, but didn't have the super dry, disgusting feeling afterwards. It's basically a middle point between wash and co wash from my experience

Grizzly Puncher and the Envy are my favs.

Liquid gold for that oud scent. Karma and envy for colonge scent but the rest are hit or miss because of my personal preference. I have tried mint condition and the mechanic but didn't like either. For the money and sales they are worth it. I have tried lcw and like it but when I do want that stripping deep wash on the beard try the pine tar soap. Even when I cut off my beard I continued to use their beard and body bars. I have tried the other scented soap and like them but I get tired of them. As far as beard butters fresh beards makes the best one. Beard octanes tends blend of oils and butter leaves my beard on the oilly side. The conditioner they have is decent but I started using Pantene conditioner in my beard and it works better than anything I have ever used including the old scotch porter Conditioner. Just my 2 cents and glad you gave beard octane a review. Overall a very good company and love those Chicago combs more than my Kent's.

So far I only have the Envy and Liquid Gold Oil and Beard butter. I love them both. I'm a huge fan of Beard Octane and would definitely buy more in the future. I'm curious to try the more festive, seasonal smells like Apple pie. I also want to find a Brand that has a thicker beard oil since Beard Octane seems to be a light oil. Any ideas?

Frankincense *is* the church smell 🙂 Also, a rubber or silicone spatula (the mixing kind, not the flipping kind, tho maybe you could make the flipping style work?) should be able to help you get your spilled oil into a tighter/smaller pile, if you have an empty bottle you could transfer it to. 😀

Used beard octane for a year now. Citrafella is my favourite scent for oil and butter. I use the conditioner and also have their shampoo. Great stuff

Curious how you feel about the nornsl beard conditioner versus the LCW. Tried both a while back and preferred the normal. Might have to try it again. I also use their leave in conditioner, would love to hear your thoughts on that as well.

They are completely different products. LCW is a beard wash, not a conditioner. The name is a bit deceiving for some people but it's just a good beard wash that's not as stripping as most others. It shouldn't be used as a conditioner.

I’ve been super curious about The Beard Club. They promote bread growth and all of that. But it seems like a big ol scam like manscapeds skin safe technology.

You need to review West Cork beard company. They do some class stuff.

Envy is the best cologne scent you have to try it and the butter

Ok, so I do love their scents very much, the only problem is that it absorbs super quick, which is good right and I love that it’s a light oil, but it make my beard feel really crispy/dry/straw like or something. And I’m not sure why, the scents dissipate super quick and leave a weird after smell. I’m not sure what that is, but it’s done that now with all 5 scents I’ve tried. With the same feeling of crispy and weird after smell (especially in the mustache). Idk if this is just me, I also live in Florida. Anyone else or have you experienced this?

[EDIT] Sorry Scub, I am changing my vote. None of the new scents (i.e., Grizzly Puncher) are available for sampling. I generally won't buy beard oil off of a product description and Bear Octane is particularly bad at having scents that don't match their words. This is consistently a major issue that I have with Beard Octane - their performance is great, their scents are bad. Envy is awesome. Karma and Liquid Gold are ok. They never should have discontinued Defiance. Everything else sucks and now they expect you to make blind purchases. No thanks!

Co washing has been debunked. Its not really a good thing to do anymore. LCW is FANTASTIC though but despite its name, its just a wash. I've had my small bottle for practically two years! It lathers SO well with so little it lasts forever, really is the best beard wash out there.
