Almost all licensed Nascar games are Dog water! The best last Nascar game was in 2004 I think! These new ones are a joke! Very poorly executed! Hardly any damage or Drama! Iracing is decent if you like subscription based games and a web Browser user interface!

Hey Neil! A few things to note about the mod in this video. 1. This version was actually not made by me, it's an import of other body models ingame. 2. The original mod has been updated since then (with a big update at that), and this mod does not have the new version. 3. I am in the process of completely remastering this mod. This means new models, textures, JBeams, probably a new sound, and overall just brand-new everything. Thus, the older mod will not be updated any more, and the latest version is the last. 4. There is a much newer port of other body models that are a work-in-progress, they are not released yet but once they are that could be a more recent version to make a video with!

I was really disappointed when i saw the title then saw it was the shitty one. Followed the whole process from start to finish only for those guys to undercut your work by releasing a slaped together version that is purposely incompatible right before you released yours. Love the next bscra gen 7 progress aswell!

If nascar ever made another game it should use nascar 15 design. This includes red, yellow, career mode and such. For game physics, it should be beaming drive. It adds the realism and the file wouldn’t be that big.

What makes that difficult I getting damage in video games that have sponsored vehicles. They don't want there sponserd cars looking damaged in game, because they say it hurts there brand

It's wild that modders absolutely blow officially licensed NASCAR games out of the water. Would be awesome if they could work with these models and physics

well it's because only EA can make them. look back in the past before EA got the sole licensing competition between multiple developers lead to competiton, people trying to make the best game they could to beat out the other but now that only EA can give NASCAR fans their games, why bother trying at all? you're the only option available for purchase.

Having analog throttle and input really makes cars more driveable, surprised you're still not using a gamepad at least, it pairs fine with m+kb for interacting with beams ui.

I'll be honest, it's hard to take any beamng gaming channel that uses key pads seriously. I appreciate the content but you are missing out game play by not even being able to control the car properly.

@@nvcnc Ye, he complained early about the car being wobbly.. Try wiggle your steeringwheel at 160mph irl and check if your car wobbles xD I normally use my G27, but when i dont care to set up the whole steering wheel, even a good old ps3 controller works well with BeamNG using the ScpServer/ScpToolkit to link it with the pc emulating it as an xbox controller (Wich is native with pc obv)

Who’s not playing beam On a full blown sim rig. I’ve got 24nm of hate trying to kill me everytime I play this.

When he said revert to my older days and drive backwards on the track, a flood of memories came back from playing a Nascar game on my ps2 as a kid

I feel like Rockstar should use Beam Tech in the next GTA game.

What are the odds of being able to play some Beammp with you Camodo and any of the others?

Well you gotta remember to tune the tire pressure as well as making sure you got the right tire on it, those top fuel dragsters can hit 300mph easily with special drag tires inflated to a whopping 5psi.

I haven't watched a neilogical video in forever

I joined a random multiplayer server and ended up racing the oval with two other people on stock cars. It was some of the craziest fun Ive ever had in a game, and the crash physics are beyond satisfying after doing a bunch of flawless laps constantly overtaking one another. Havent laughed out loud so hard from a game in a while

Nascar is just 1 of the so many great mods in Beam! Great vid as always Neil!👏🏼

This reminds me of the good old times when I was playing Sierra's NASCAR Racing 2 back in the late 90s. That game had surprisingly good physics and damage model, but it had the same problem as all NASCAR games: Racing in ovals is fun and thrilling but can also be frustrating when skill on track isn't evenly matched between all participants, may it be the AI or the player(s).

Not sure if there is one, but if there's a way to change settings and make the car indestructible, you could use this mod for a fun challenge. Hit that ramp, land in the oval and take a lap. See how seamless you can make it.

neil, you haven't checked out the herbie mod. still works, the only thing broken is the self-repairing

to counter the oversteer, beamng have an oversteer reduction feature and if you set it to max, you can actually go in a straight line without having to worry about spinning out, just letting you know lol

There's a pretty easy way to set up races in beamng drive, it's in the world editor and it's the ai script manager, you just have to record the route and then boom you'll be set for one, you'll have to watch Crashmandjaro's tutorial for the specifics and the details cause well it's a lot easier to see it visually then to describe it here lol.

Neil if you use the Ai manager and set them to flee, you can also set their speed. Go into the advanced settings use buttons to set their speed and set the speed to SET and the Ai will try to hit 200 while going around Playtona 😉

The damage model is better than the Nascar Heat games wth! So cool

You can setup a race really easy you just have to ui menu in the top right and then scroll all the way up and then click on ai race mission and something will appear in the top right of your screen and then you have to start hotlapping and add checkpoints so the ai knows where to go

I dont think EA or Nascar understands how much money that game could make if it just has realistic damage to the vehicles instead of stupid fender bender physics

how did you set up the ai to drive the track? and how do you reset the ai with you at the start line then race?
