Fantastic work, I cannot praise it enough. Really, this is the kind of thing that takes a really long time to make, as I'm sure it did, but the result is absolutely phenomenal. Oh, and what if I said that we're planning on completely remaking the Gen 6 mod sometime in the future (after the current project at least) to make it even better than before? Yeah. New models, textures, JBeam, all bodies, tons of paint schemes are what we're planning.

I've watched this, probably about 20 times at this point. Everything is done so perfectly from a technical standpoint. Camera work is on point. Familiar imagery with the references. Transitions are smooth. You could do a series of using the main song from each EA Nascar games in different vids. 10/10 experience

Thank you, once you do learn the camera path tool, you'll be using it all the time. Also keep up the good work with the skins, without those, videos like these wouldn't exist.

@@TriNitroToluene_Man I will try the tool, and I will keep up with the skins! I just released a 2018 pack with 40 skins in it, the whole roster from the 2018 season and a handful of part-time drivers and extra skins, so there’s plenty more stuff to use now ;)

Hey do you know how you got racing like that in beamng, I tried setting the ai to chase me, random, follow me and all the other ai settings but the ai were too slow or far spread out, or went in random directions, any tips to get the racing you got in the video, great vid BTW

I use the AI script editor which is in the world editor (F11), under windows, gameplay, and AI script editor, from there you can create custom lines for the AI to run.

Its just a lot of experimenting with Beam and the cars, I tune the cars for the AI specifically so they can run the car easier, I use the Camera path editor located in the world editor a ton when I make videos, and I have quite a bit of experience when it comes to editing videos and films.

Only if you want to though, cause this is epic and i would wanna try pack racing just for fun with the ai. One more question how do you get so many cars, i start to lag bad at 4 cars

@@mr_mckay4573 A little secret of mine, my computer doesn't like it when I spawn more than 8 cars, so when I'm spawning 24 or more cars it gets really made at me lol. For blowovers its a bit tricky, just like real modern stock cars its actually really hard to impossible get a car to blowover just by spinning by its self. The car has to be prompted into the air by either a car T-boning another car at high speeds or by hitting a wall at the correct angle to get air under the car (or you can cheat and just lower gravity when your backwards, I don't do that because its cheating and unrealistc lol. Once you understand the physics of the Gen 6 Camaro you'll be able to do blowovers all the time.

As for the pack racing, lets just say its a bit artificial. I spawn all my cars and line them up on the part of the track I am going to be crashing and filming at. I tune 1st gear to be really short because the AI have no clue how to start up a Stock car and just instantly stalls. Usually shortening 1st gear helps the AI greatly but will inconvenience you, would recommend slowing down time when recording AI lines. Next I use the AI script path editor inside of the world editor (F11) to create AI lines to drive a specific way. There is a tutorial video by I Can't Drive where I told him everything I know about pack racing, I would recommend watching his video (kzread.info/dash/bejne/c4h-lNtuc7LUYNY.html). Yeah that's pretty much it, I apologize for the absolute essay that is my response comment but I hope this is somewhat helpful, anyways thanks for watching the video and stay tuned for more which will be coming soon.

No, that would be way too many shots I would have to coordinate with people. Almost every scene is all AI driven cars except for maybe 3 or 4 shots where I drove.

It's actually the "American Road" map by primo3001, there is a racetrack and superspeedway oval on the map. I also completely forgot to add this mod the the description, I will add it now lol.
