The sequel to Burnout 3 we deserved In all seriousness, I love that this is possible. It's really nice when devs take into account that not everyone is rich, and still make that effort so that everyone can enjoy their game. Also this graphical style is super nostalgic for me, so I love to see it again in a video like this. Reminds me of NFS Most Wanted or similar games from that era.

I found out that Beam eats up your Ram, so if you have like 8GB of ram (mine is DDR4) Consider upgrading I got like 20-30 FPS out of it with pretty cheap 2666 Mhz Samsung ram for like 40 Bucks each. + Integrated Graphics for Beam Suck. +For the love of god use a SSD Just sharing some thoughts

@@LatvianVideo it makes windows much faster but unless the game is actively reading from the disk, it will make no difference to the performance of the game. It can reduce loading times if game has to load a lot of stuff. Beamng loads everything to ram, it only reads from disk while loading
i actually used to run beamng like this in the early days.. i had a mid tower with 512 megs of ram, some evga graphics card that only had 256 megs of vram and my cpu was a core 2 duo, windows was running off of the cheapest 350 gig seagate hard drive.. now i'm using a gtx 1060 semi fanless and a ryzen 7 1600x with like 16 gigs of ram, and i'll tell you it's a huge difference. edit: i got about 100 fps when it was unlocked so at least i had some frames
man i’m loving these uploads

i really liked how it looked on high settings with low render distance, the background looked blurred out so it resembles DoF, i'm not sure if BeamNG has actual depth of field settings because i haven't been playing it that much now, but damn i really liked that lmao
@automotiveflux I’ve recently been replaying NFS Prostreet but I have it on the Wii so it runs well but this reminded me that usually u can’t see other cars you’re unless they’re within 300ft of u.
I play on a Ryzen 5 2600 / 16 GB of Ram / GTX 1050 (Yes I know my cpu is bottlenecked) at 1080p anywhere from 40 to 90 fps at medium/low. Nice vid, keep up the good work !
Congrats on 40K :)
I'm happy that the beam Devs optimised the west coast and jungle island because my 1050 couldn't run those maps well before
There are times that my computer struggles at even this level
I used to run this game, the tech demo, and the full release on an AMD A4-5300. Dual core integrated graphics. I don't remember the game looking quite like this when I played it but I'm glad I can play the game now with high settings at 2K

bro you are so underrated. you need more subs
I have an work pc separate from my gaming pc, it's an intel skull canyon nuc6i7kyk and only has intel graphics. I tried installing beam and it went al good but when i tried to play it would not load or even start the game. it comes with an error at the start that i do not have an discreet graphics card.
GG, you hit 40k this minute!!
I play rigs of rods on my hp laptop now and it makes my fan spin louder than a jet engine lmao
On my old laptop i had the Game on lowest Settings at 720p and managed to get halfway playable 15 fps.
literally every time i start the game a message pops up that says “you are using an intel gpu, please switch to a different one for better performance” and then my computer proceeds to have a meltdown should i attempt to play this game on anything higher than the “low” settings. still loads of fun tho!!!
thank you my computer can finally live up to its name as little nugget on low graphics
This is really close to what NFS Most Wanted for the PS2 looked like for most of my life, playing it on a 16:9 FullHD TV, damn
Before I got my Mobile Workstation for school I had to play BeamNG at a very low setting and could only have one car spawned at a time.
my computer crashes anytime i crash, cpu is shit on my computer

How much ram do you have? Some ppl have said that it eats up your ram a lot
if you're limited to these graphics settings, upgrade your ram with used parts to the limit (£5-20), get a decent power supply with at least 600w (£35-80), and a used GTX 580 (£20).
I used to run this game like this on my old pentium laptop from 2010. It would overheat after about half an hour
I respect the devs for being able to update the visuals of the game massively, yet still managing to optimize the game to such an extent that even an 8 year old PC with an Intel i3 2120 can play this game in 1080p at decent framerates. And I think if you change the map to something like Jungle Rock Island you will get better render distances. West Coast was basically unplayable with my old PC before, but with this new update it runs at about 30 fps, with the tradeoff that objects look terrible at distances of more than 50m.
Fun fact. The people who made Rigs of Rods also made BeamNG.

Before I had a good pc I used to have a dell optiplex 990 that I threw a gt610 in and It ran beam at 60fps lowest settings at 720p. That was awhile ago but, it still shows how well that game is optimized
*When you relize the graphic in this video is better than the graphic you play in 25 fps
This is what I used to play on naturally because my laptop is garbage. Except that the frames are running usually at a crispy like 15 fps. My laptop is connected to a 75 hrtz monitor-
Yup, I run it on a HP Pavilion that's about 5 years old

My computer is a stock HP pavilion 6610f.
My settings are low but not quite this low- my laptop is from 2019 but has an Intel GPU, so with most games I start at the bottom then see how much I can add on before the Intel 620 fries itself. I grew up on PS2 games, though, and I appreciate the older games visually, so I might just try some of these settings I didn't know about (resolution was something I never touched).
I don't have my pc right now but when I do all max, ryzen 9 and some rtx gpu (I previously ordered a 3060 ti but it got cancelled without my knowing so I plan on heading to best buy to try to pick up a gpu)
Duuuuude them rigs of rods days hit hard...
I have an i5 9400f, 8gb ram and 2gb vram. Should I try playing it?
Before i had beamng on a old laptop that got like 5 fps on lowest settings on west coast usa, now i have a new gamer laptop that runs every map 60fps and it has very good graphix
i play on the low setting with garbage frame rate if you even try to add another car... at least you got one right?
its been years since someone mentioned rigs of rods, which was also made by some of the Beam.NG devs.
I play on these settings but with low shadows and at 1080p I get around 20FPS. My PC has a core i5 2500 and an AMD Radeon R7 240. I'm getting a new PC for Christmas with a GTX 1650 super, which I'll be building myself so 2020 isn't that bad after all.
Me : i watch the video 3:27 later My brain : W I D E C A R
you can get an ssd for the old laptop for pennies these days. i have a gtx970 and run at pretty decent settings but i sometimes cant play on other maps than the experience center cuz its a small map and i have way too many tabs open and is running out of ram
Your lucky, I can't even run it smoothly on Full HD (good monitor), HD (laptop screen), or even 1024 x 768 (old magnavox monitor).
Meanwhile im sitting here, playing BEAMNG on 800x600 with everything off on daily basis. And still enjoying it...
I've been playing BeamNG on my ThinkPad w520. You're correct in saying it'll run on just about anything. Nvidia Quadro 2000m i7 2760qm 16GB DDR3 is enough for surprisingly decent settings at 60fps 1080p.
it’s really funny because this is the only way i can play beamng except the screen res is standard 1080 xD
Flatout 2 with realistic crash physics
Fun story, like 5 games could be ran on the PS2 could be ran at 1080i. The one I'm familiar with is Gran Turismo 4. All you need is the component cable instead of the AV cable.
him: this is very... odd me: first time?
it gives me those Drift City vibes btw some fans made a private server, if you are interested
I did play like this when I had a 2013 samsung notebook with a dual core i3, 6gb of ram, and integrated graphics. I also got about 20 fps This was about 3 or 4 years ago
RIP me. I play BeamNG.drive on a laptop lol.
Before I built my budget build pc, I had to play on lowest settings. Now I'm able to play on the highest settings with 40fps, and medium settings around 65fps. My $200 gaming pc build plays most AA games on medium and gets 50-70fps.
This is what beam would look like on my laptop
I got it on my lil brothers optiplex 3010. this is about what I had to do to get it to run so I returned it on steam. he's getting a graphics card for Christmas so it won't be integrated anymore. will try again.
For the longest while i was running BeamNG on a Lenovo Yoga 530 with an Intel Pentium, 8gb ram and integrated graphics (Intel 530hd i think) and surprisingly, it ran. It was nowhere near the minimum requirements. I won a bet with my friend that i could run it lol. You could only run 3 maps (gridmap, small island and Utah (hOw????)) and only gridmap ran at 60fps. Utah and small island at around 20-30. All lowest graphics. Max two cars per map could be used. But it ran. And that's what counts
Core i5 2400, GTX 650. Yep. That's what my beam ng looks like. (but with shadows, and on 24" 1080p monitor)
Reminds me of Drift City...
I have an HP laptop with an i5 does anyone happen to know how poorly would it run?
Ps2 even ran a couple of games at 1080i There was a gran turismo that had the ability to do so
@sasajungic89
3 жыл бұрын
Yup. They really squeezed everything out of ps2 with Gran Turismo
I play on a 2 core processor at lowest settings but even for that the game is incredibly detailed
Yep, i do run it about that low, just leave the shadows on as a bare minimum
Inb4 the last PS2s produced (mid 2005 and after) had 1080i resolution Most game weren't made for that resolution tho, but 007 Quantum of Solace and RE4 did.
