Even though I have not played 2012 myself, I am a diehard NFS fan so this is amazing! The Most Wanted 2005 map exists in BeamNG too but its a bit bumpy so its undrivable for BeamNG

This map in BeamMP would be so cool, imagine cops and robbers roleplay on this map, so cool - i never really liked the Most Wanted 2012 as a game, but i loved the map a lot. This is really nice

As past-MW '12 enjoyer and BeamNG Drive fan, this feels like a fever dream

Great map! Now it's time for Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2010 map 💥 That one has some great roads too.

Unfortunately the Burnout Paradise map mod was abandoned either because of licensing issues or because it was simply impossible to import to BeamNG

This map is brand new but you're right there are so many car mods of cars from that game 😀

At this point, its NFS with soft-body physics

I still play this on the xbox 360, happy to see it get some love as its a really fun burnout fairhaven lol. And its good to see the crash cam not being boring

Actually a sad fact is that the game was supposed to be a second version of the original which is Need For Speed Most Wanted 2, but due to how small the time for Criterion was, it was changed to this😢 some evidence suggests that because beta builds, actual unused garages can glitched into or with mods,a actual poster that is based of the beta builds and more.

I think it already is, no other game goes so detailed with its simulation for something like a car engine

This is so exciting! I lost NFS:MW2012 when Origin got killed off, as I had taken a break from gaming but seeing this for BeamNG, has made me really happy that I can enjoy the lovely Fairhaven with the vast range of BeamNG cars, but with the NFS style gameplay!

OMG this was my first driving game it brings back so many memories what a nostalgic game

The map is gorgeous, one of the best-looking maps I've seen, but noticed that some of the buildings and props were either missing or not there, but overall the map is perfect.

The music from the run made me cry a little. so much nostalgia from this little game ;D

i already have played mw2012 for a bit now, but in beamng’s game engine it will be really refreshing. Especially in beammp where you can have high speed chases and races and so on and so fourth.

One of the most underrated games. 2012 most wanted. My childhood game Edit:and when I return to the game in 2023 and finish it, I got so emotional.

now iI have seen mods and this this tops all of them!!! I've played the game and it was an epic game I wish that they wouldve remastered it like they did with NFS PURSUIT etc.

looks lovely, reminds me of Burnout Paradise and NFS MW2012, gotta play it someday again :D

Need for Speed racing + BeamNG driving physics = actual The Fast and The Furious classic vibe. Much closer than even classic Need for Speed games.

The problem with MostWanted 2012 was, it had Burnout Physics, without Burnout crashes. While Burnout physics are appropriate for Burnout, it always seems out of place in a NFS game. That's why it wasn't well-received. So, actually, this is much better!

ok enough said this is wayyyyyyyyyy too cool like this beamng but on steroids just by a mod if they made a lag free traffic mod where it pre spawns it and adds all of it and makes it more immersive and they add humans mod or npcs mod this is game is gonna be levitating to the number one game because of that I just wish that would happen

With bake 2 drift and insane input lag with 5 seconds crash cam no reset button because you crash you reset position.

Wow it's insane how the map looks identical to MW2012, I'm astonished at how well they preserved the art style.

My only question is, do they have a prostreet mod? With the sim-style racing in that game, it seems like the obvious choice for a need for speed/beamng mod.

I have it downloaded but i cant click continue to get the initial UI off my screen. it doesnt do anything. any advice?

the map currently does not yet simulate wet road handling. The wetness is only visual. Cars handle the same on the "wet" roads as the dry roads for now. (Source: The mod creators forum post in the download link)

The original quote is: "The road surface may appear more slippery than on other map ports as it's based on an Old Apshalt groundmodel. However, its behavior is not even comparable to wet asphalt. The only changes are sounds and particles from wet asphalt to match the original game." I think this means that while it's not meant to be slippery, it's not grippy asphalt either

I removed the shake effect entirely and pushed the camera up about 0.1m, with a tilt angle much lower than the default. I basically looked at what the NFS camera looks like and copied it

I definitely played NFS MW on an iPad back in 2013 but I also owned it on PS Vita and PC. I remember being amazed at how similar all the versions were.
