    I love your work! I’m so glad I found your channel. Can you do a tutorial on how you do your heading? Start to finish and how you do it? I’m just beginning and want to learn more. 😊

    This is pretty cool, I knew there was a lot of work involved in beading but I don’t think I realized how much it actually is.

    What is the metal foot you use to hold down the beadwork? I have problems with my larger pieces staying straight as I bead.

    What material did you bead on? Did you just bead on leather alone? And what was the material you were cutting out for the backing? :)

    I beaded on felt but I wish I would have used pellon. In the middle I used double sided fusible stabilizer to thicken it up, and then lined it with muslin which is an affordable natural fabric

    @@ChelseyMoon Thank you for answering my questions. I bead on leather and pellon, I never thought of using fusible stabilizer and muslin. I should give it a try. :)

    Your beadwork is gorgeous! I was just about to get started on my leggings. I was curious what you were beading on before you added the interfacing? I normally bead on pellon. I apologize if you said somewhere!

    I beaded on felt but I should have beaded on pellon. It’s not as densely fibered as pellon. But the thick fusible stabilizer works really well at stiffening they leggings and protecting the felt from getting damaged

    Can you bead directly on double fusible pellon and then glue/iron the fabric on the back after beading?

  • @ChelseyMoon

    @ChelseyMoon

    3 жыл бұрын

    The fusible pellon has a ton of scratchy glue spots on them that would be hard to bead on and might even weaken your thread. Plus if you were to get the double sided fusible, that means there’s glue on both sides. When you would go to iron material onto the pellon, you could cause the glue to melt onto your beads. I would just use pellon off the bolt but if you want something colorful, use felt that you either double up and/or a stabilizer on the back of it for strength. Hope that helps

    @@ChelseyMoon sorry I'm new at this and trying to learn lol! Is there pellon that isnt fusible? Would your process be the same if you beaded on pellon instead of felt? Thanks so much for your help!
