Beadalong Day 10: Beaded Sea Turtle | Sea animal Earrings, Charm or Pendant beading tutorial

Welcome to our Beadalong Day 10! I can't believe we're nearly at the end. Today we will be beading our final motif, a beaded sea turtle. He can be made with or without his stomach (if you want to make him flatter to fit onto a piece then leave it off). I think he'd make a cute pendant or bag charm, maybe even earrings. He's a bit more involved than the other sea creatures we've made, but I think (hope) I have given clear instructions. If you have questions, you can of course ask and I'm happy to help.
This sea turtle was designed by me, Juliet Erskine, so please be kind and give design credit when appropriate. Thank you!
Materials:
10 superduos (Color A)
7 superduos (Color B)
11/0 Round seed beads (color A to match)
11/0 Round seed beads (color B to match)
11/0 Round seed beads Black (for the eyes)
8/0 Round seed beads (color A to match)
8/0 Round seed beads (color B to match)

Well, this one took me more than one try when designing! But I usually have a basic structure beaded in my head before I start. The rest is refining the look, tweaking and the thread path.
Hey goodnight I came across this video yesterday ,I just finished this turtle , I love love bead weaving this was easy. I'm going to do the sea horse next .Can you do a tutorial on making a Dove & a Butterfly using Super Duos. Thank you for this tutorial .❤❤❤❤

I like your sea turtle better! I agree, my turtle was most definitely the most challenging! The entire time that I was making him I kept asking myself what was I thinking! 🤣

Seed bead weaving has been a challenge but a great challenge. Someday I will have patience. I've taken Merideths class from Beadalon. ❤

He is so sweet! Super cute. When I was doing amigurumi I got fixated on turtles. When I started a Facebook group I called it TurtleLadyHoo! I love tiny tiny stuff so may try this with miniduos. (Yeah, I’m crazy!) Now, do you remember where did I put all of my miniduos?
