This is actually Tokyo Bay near Yokosuka, a nameless beach that is crystal clear even in the incredible summer.
Generally speaking, there are no land routes, and the water is so wide and shallow that ships can't get close to it, making it the perfect environment for paddlers.It's a hidden beach that's a little removed from the rest of the world.
Care must be taken during times when the currents are fast in the narrowest part of Tokyo Bay.
The time when the wind calms down and the high tide and low tide stop is a spectacular sight, and you can see the shallow water bottom at this nameless beach that looks like a pool !
The filming took place over two days, one day using a new 360° camera, and another on the day of the annual festival at the town's shrine, which was held for the first time in four years.We used SUP to capture a flotilla of portable shrines being carried across Tokyo Bay from the water. The roots of such shrines date back to the ancient times of mythology. Yamato Takeru's wife sacrificed herself underwater to calm the storm in order to save Yamato Takeru's fleet in the raging Tokyo Bay.
The inscription is located at this shrine in Hashirimizu.
