I just tried out Instow the other day and found nothing, have bought a better detector now so just waiting on that to get here this week, do you go out to juat beaches or do you do fields aswell?

@@gandalfthegayridestoisenga4870 Instow just got turned upside down by a recent storm so not sure if that helps or worsens the chances of finds. So far I've only done beaches. I'm hoping to look in fields too but I'm not sure where I'd legally be able to and also how I'd get permission to do so

@@LouisKnowlesUKWeather yeah haha I know about that storm cos I had to clean up the remnants outside the beachhut on the beach front, alot of sand got shifted so potentially all the good stuff got dragged out that was shallow. About permissions I'm not really sure on how to get permissions other than knowing the owner or asking them personally but that could be difficult if they live away from the fields yk so who knows, if you would like to go out together one day then could do that, I'd like to go out to braunton beach next (not in the dunes where bombs are)
